Listen, Matt. I know you're probably struggling with a lot of confusing emotions right now.
You may feel ashamed, scared, isolated, humiliated, confused, afraid you won't be believed or that the abuse will get worse if you report it. You are not to blame! Do not suffer in silence, as there are people who can help. I'm not one of 'em, but they're out there.
You can come clean...you don't have to protect this monster anymore.
If that is indeed all that the text said, it is a truly sad day that someones rep and career, regardless of what you thought of him as a player, could be ruined because of it.

Eh, I would want to see the text before rushing to judgment.
You could consider "Blow me" a solicitation, even if he was joking around. It could literally be just a terrible choice in words that landed him in the hot-seat... especially because he was in a position of authority.
Thing is, we don't know the full context of this.
good thing for Josh McNeil he never played quarterback.
I've coached with a team that had a bisexual QB. As he once asked, "What could I possibly find arousing about putting my hands on a pachyderm's sweaty taint? You'd think the most fun part would be dropping the snap and ending up on the bottom of a pileup."
Rarely a dull moment with him around...
