Imo, any adult person tweeting any player of any team should get a life. Being critical in the confines of a message board is completely different than messaging someone on social media. Players should never be harassed by fans.

It’s not just one. That’s what we can’t comprehend how many it is. This is two years of constant shots at JG, himself, his coaches and other individual teammates. Right now is more tough on the players than it is on the fans because THEY are the ones being singled out.

They need to" Nut Up Buttercup"
It is the price they pay for fame and glory .Playing football is not their Safe Place.

I understand that. You understand that but these are 18-20 yr old kids being directly tweeted at or otherwise. It’s easy for us to say what we’d do as adults but at the same time very few of us adults have were ever in their position to know how we’d react.

Sure, he can. Still a free country for the most part. And I can admire him speaking his mind. Shows he has a spine. But if he expects fans to be supportive of things going this far south? He should have gone to Vanderbilt.

Context... Not condoning what he did but I'm pretty sure it was a pissing match by a handful of jackass "fans" who were bashing JG and Brian was trying to take up for him and it obviously went south.... I don't think he was trying to throw shade over the entire fanbase...

Never the less, he should've "bit his tongue"...

All this talk of not being a fan anymore- maybe I’ll come back yada yada. That is just so foreign to me as a fan. I’ve been a fan of two teams most of my life. The Tennessee Vols and the St Louis Cardinals. They were both a ray of sunshine in an otherwise pretty stressful childhood and teen years. So jumping in and out seems like something a fringe fan would do. Chances are the “money” lost to those couple of fans in all likelihood will be minimal. JMO

Fair weather fan- a person who is supportive of and enthusiastic about a sports team only when they are performing well.

No my point is he may be as frustrated with things as the rest of us but he’s tired of being bashed for doing what he’s told by the coaching staff.

Just my opinion, but at 20 years old, they are no longer kids, they are men who need to be able to handle criticism or play intramural football for funsies.

These kids do their best but there’s been countless times I’ve seen players look to the sidelines for a play and clearly just shake their head in disgust and put their head down and run the same play that hasn’t worked all game. They are just doing what they are told. It’s the coaches making the poor calls and the administration that does nothin to the horrible coaches that get all the blame from me.

Cool, meanwhile I froze my ass off as well as spent sweltering days in the Generals house watching the legacy and pride that Al, Leonard, Peyton, Peerless, Jabari, and Big John to name a few build to watch Pruitt and Co. (including Maurer) destroy it further. I e been wearing Orange and paying thousands of dollars as well before this milksop was a sperm cell. I’ve been deployed to two continents so he can shove his self perceived sacrifices, played D1 athletics as well (not really a sacrifice). He is so out of touch and probably due to age but this kid is absolutely coming off as an idiot.
