It ruins the game for me to see players who we rooted and cheered for all season jump ship only days after losing in the play offs. It destroys the normal connections between fans and players that we've always had where we watch them put on our school uniforms as freshmen and when they leave as seniors we consider them VFL. And for some we get to follow them as pros.. As for actual product on the field ...we are only in 1st few years of this NIL/Portal Dance and this years NC was won by a team that had one of the highest payrolls in college football. It's all about money

True, but before we cold pretend the only reason they weren't leaving was because they would have to set out one year.... seems like half the roster is made up of Ricky Bobby's wife Carley.
