So this idea hit me after thinking how effective jacks group has really been. Especially getting into skylar's and killing andrea so easily.
What if walt goes in. Guns blazing. And dies. Having barely done anything to them? Wouldnt that be the ultimate pyrhic ending? Walt finally trying to atone for some of his misdeeds and ultimately failing so miserably that its as if he never existed? I could see vince gilligan letting todd and his buddies win this. I really could.
How are they going to wrap this up in 50 or so minutes of screen time? This is going to be insane!
I'm evidently the only person in the country who has not been mesmerized by this show. I watched my first episode last night, and based on that, suspect the final show will be all about the money and how all of this effort to make his family a bunch of money by committing crimes is for naught.
He dies and the trasnsporter/fake id guy takes his $11 million. The other meth cook is killed by the weird gang, but they get caught and the feds seize their $70 million.
The wife and the kids end up with zippity doo dah. And that's the moral of the story. Crime doesn't pay.
Just a guess, though. And I've only watched the one episode.
So this post is about as educated as all of your posts in the politics forum?
If anything about your post comes to fruition, I will facepalm and start writing angry letters. I don't get the feeling that these writers are going to finish up with such a meaningless finale.

Really? All the commentary throughout last night's episode about just wanting to get money to his family? The lawyer telling him it will never work, asking the transport dude to give it to them if he shows up one day in Vt and he's dead, the packaging of 100k to mail to the son's friend? His utter dismay that he's got no way to get them the $?
I'd say its flipping obvious that's where its headed.
His old buddy from the corporation they started pissed him off. I could see him burning the skin heads down and taking down the corporation on national television. With jessie's help after they reconcile. They always have.

I don't think he's going after the corporation at all. I think that was merely a catalyst to get him to go through with taking out the Nazis. He was content to let it all go and turn himself in, then he saw that and decided "Screw that, I'm taking them out".
Remember, earlier in the season being described as a "sweet guy" really pissed him off.
I also still don't know if he'd off Jesse or not. I think part of him wants to, or at least doesn't care if he gets offed, but part of him still wants to embrace him as a son. I can see it ending with Jesse killing him.
Hahahahaha! Ok, ok, ok. I withdraw my earlier comments. There is obviously more backstory than was apparent last night. Let me ask you this: How many here think it ends with him dead, one way or another?
