Breaking Bad on amc

Wow, what an episode.

I have a feeling next week is going to be one heck of a send off, and will leave us hanging for a year.

You know how it will go down. There will be a flash forward, probably sometime after the opening scene this season and then there will be a big long setup for next year. That's usually how they go. Not much action but a ton to look forward too.

**Spoiler alert for those that enter the thread before watching the episode :ermm:

I think on the way out they finally made Mike a sympathetic figure. Yeah he was a bad guy but he deserved better IMO. Only guy to really understand what Walt screwed up and actually tell him

Loved the opening scene though and this one:

The opening scene was hilarious. Loved it.

"Say my name."

I also laughed when Saul opened the drawer with 20 cell phones trying to find the one ringing.

I suppose they are going to try and kill everyone in prison now. Good thing the deaths have stopped.

Strictly a guess, but I'm thinking Jesse somehow gets in trouble next week and Walt will have a decision; Jessie or meth.

Buddy of mine thinks Todd works for the new dealers and is a spy. He's a bizzare dude. And he looks like Matt Damon's cousin.

Most badass TV series line probably ever.

It's one of my favorites but I don't know if I can say it's my favorite. And if you're just talking badass, there are some other badass shows currently on tv.

Sons Of Anarchy
Dexter
Burn Notice
Game Of Thrones
The Walking Dead
American Horror Story
Weeds

Those are pretty badass. Other shows I like...

Big Bang Theory
How I Met Your Mother
Parks And Recreation
Modern Family
It's Always Sunny
The Office
Eastbound And Down
The Middle
Franklin And Bash
Psych
Beavis And Butthead
Futurama
Unsupervised
Bob's Burgers

That's a lot of TV, I know. Used to think movies were way better than TV but a lot of shows have grown on me. I watch more TV than movies now.

And another badass show that's now longer on TV was Prison Break. I thought that show was awesome.

Anyways..... Walter is turning into the kingpin. It seems a like a lot of people expect him to get caught or killed so maybe he'll find a way to get away with it. He is pretty smart after all but that along with his ego is starting to bury him. He seems to think he is smarter than everybody else and truthfully, maybe he is. Hank seems to be the only one intelligent enough to stop him. He even took out Gus who was in his own right a badass and a genius. With that being said, watch Walt get offed by some thug that's a nobody. They'll try to jack has car and shoot him or something.

I wonder if Jesse will find out about Mike. He told Mike he'd see him around but Mike said he wouldn't so he might just leave it alone. Or in the season finale he'll try contacting Mike and find out. Who knows...

Hopefully they'll tell us what happens when all is said and done. I wouldn't be surprised if they leave it with the possibility that Walter disappears and they leave you with the possibility that he got away or got whacked. Then again, I doubt he'd leave his family. So maybe some of the people he deals with kills his family and the DEA is closing in which would give him no reason to stay. He'd have to kill the killers of course before he left.

At this point, it appears to be virtually impossible the family stays together. I thought the show got a little redundant but it should be a wild finish.

I don't think he wanted to shoot him. I think he just did it without thinking because of all the stress. Then again, he did step up to get the bag. Prob the plan all along. Mike has always been one my favorite characters. He's awesome.

I like the point above about Mike and Jessie. Walt not mentioning that will certainly come up, I think.

Yea, I was thinking about this scene today. Gomez' smile was a trip!

I think they've forshadowed Jesse figuring out Walt, and I still think he's going to find out about the Lily of the Valley incident.

I'm also starting to wonder if Skylar doesn't commit suicide.

Of course he wanted to shoot him, that's why he took his gun.

I don't know. I didn't get the impression he intended to shoot Mike either. Maybe he took his gun for Walt's own protection.

I hope they give us a little bit of closure next week. A cliffhanger is fine, but I don't want anything too dramatic that I'm going to forget about by "next season."

but he only came up with the idea when presented with a gun. He did not take his own so it was more of a spur of the moment thing. He also may have taken it to prevent Mike from killing him with it

she should hurry up. Really getting on my nerves

Skylar is the worst character on the show. I almost want to fast forward any time she is talking to her sister.

Mike has no reason to do anything to Walt. Walt took the gun to kill Mike if he didnt give up the names. Mike was also too much of a risk if he ever got caught. The opportunity to get rid of Mike presented itself and Walt took the opportunity. It wasn't a spur of the moment decision. He had plenty of time to change his mind between the airport and where it all went down.

he was walking to get back in his car until Mike went off on him. If Mike says thanks then he drives off into the sunset

That episode 3 weeks ago when it was just 60 minutes of Walt and Skyler fighting was brutal. Least enjoyable episode ever. Any episode that gives her more screen time is going to be less enjoyable.

so they planted a guy in a random pest company in the hope that the local meth dealer would start cooking in their tented houses?

Not saying it impossible but it's something I've read a couple of times but just can't buy the leap. Just way too random for this show and would take too long to really explain with few episodes left

So you think Mike was just going to get in his car, notice his gun missing and then just drive off?

Walt took the gun to kill Mike. If he didn't do it after the argument then he would have done it after Mike confronted him about taking it. You actually think Mike would ask Walt about taking the gun and he would have just given it back to him?

Sometimes I feel bad for Skylar, but then I remember that she essentially made her own bed in this whole situation. She chose to go briefly along on the ride with Walt and is now feeling the ramifications from it.

Had she said no to him and packed her bags from the get go she's probably not the lifeless shell of a woman that she comes across as currently. I never was that big of a fan of Skylar in the first place, but I preferred Seasons 1-3 Skylar compared to the current dark and depressed version we have now.

Mike would have been more prepared if he was going to confront Walt after discovering the missing gun. He had another one on him. Walt surprised him

based on how the scene played out, I don't think Walt planned on killing Mike from the start. As I said above, if Mike simply says "thanks" the whole meet ends with both driving away

I didn't get the premeditated thoughts either. Walt stomped back to the car then turns around after Mike called him out on his faults. I figured Walt just took the gun as a precaution.

Mike was being tailed by the cops. He didn't have a gun on him. That's why he dumped them all down the well.

Once again, Walt has nothing to be afraid of. Mike is the risk in the situation. You dont take a gun for protection if there is nothing to be protected from.

Also, do you just expect Walt to just give Mike his gun back once he realizes its gone?

Yes, Walt got pissed when he didnt hear what he wanted from Mike but the minute he saw that gun he knew that killing him was a real possibility. Things didnt go as plan so Walt adapted.

he absolutely had a gun in his last scene

Can't wait for the season finale.

Is it considered a season finale when they split a season in half?
