Breaking Bad on amc

he absolutely had a gun in his last scene

Well damn. Oh well, that's a minor point.

Mike was being tailed by the cops. He didn't have a gun on him. That's why he dumped them all down the well.

Once again, Walt has nothing to be afraid of. Mike is the risk in the situation. You dont take a gun for protection if there is nothing to be protected from.

Also, do you just expect Walt to just give Mike his gun back once he realizes its gone?

Yes, Walt got pissed when he didnt hear what he wanted from Mike but the minute he saw that gun he knew that killing him was a real possibility. Things didnt go as plan so Walt adapted.

I don't think so. I think we've come to the consensus that Walt did not intend to kill Mike. It was a fight or flight decision, but he took the gun to leave his options open, and maybe for his own protection.

Did you see the look on his face after he shot Mike. That was not the look of a cold-blooded killer that was satisfied with his actions.

I'm not saying it was premeditated but you cant say he took the gun without realizing that killing Mike would maybe be an option. Besides, you make it sound like he accidentally shot Mike, he knew exactly what he what doing when he was walking up to his car. He walked right up too him and shot him, of course he meant to kill him.

He felt remorseful because he hadn't thought everything through and realized he made a mistake. His world is falling apart and now he is killing people over petty arguments.

I actually watched the episode again last night with my buddy who hadn't seen it yet. I think Walt went with the intention of killing Mike if Mike made him feel uncertain about anything. It wasn't totally decided, but he was ready for go time if needed.

Exactly.

4 1/2 seasons before they use Crystal Blue Persuasion in an episode. You know they have been sitting on that one awhile.

A bit silly but that hasn't stopped them before.

Yeah hard to believe a guy as smart as Walt leaves that thing just sitting around his house for his DEA brother in law to find at anytime. Especially after the scene in Hank's bedroom.

Really sucks that it'll be next summer til we get the next 8. I mean don't get me wrong next summer I'll be glad they did it this way, but for now it sucks.

Wonder how much money he gave Jessie. Mike's 5 million fit in one of those bags and what he gave Jessie filled up 2 of them.

I actually think it's weak that they had hank finally figure it out by just remembering something he had thought before. Reading the book didn't change Walt's initials. That's what they were the whole time. I thought he was going to read a note written to Heisenberg.

Hank finally catching Walt had to happen. The cook/distribution scenes with Crystal Blue Persuasion playing over it was perfection. Can't wait for the final 8 episodes!

I liked it. Hank already knows Gale was a fan of Walt Whitman. Here's a note from G.B. to his other W.W. in a Walt Whitman book that happens to be in Walter's bathroom.

Putting Walt together with Gale is what triggers it.

The note did say something like "nice working together" or something to that effect. It's wasn't just the initials.

I thought it was the lady from Gray Matter, Gretchen Black that gave Walt the book? Either way the jig is up, no way they let him out of the game that easy. I'm more worried about what the Russians will do than the DEA.
