Breaking Bad on amc

I really think a worse penance for Walter would be if he had to live to be extremely old. Family and friends dead in a giant mansion.

I'm going back through and re-watching the series. It's amazing how you remember things, then go back and watch again and things you thought took a few episode to happen , actually happened in one episode.

I'm also really digging parts that really pop out now, like some of Hanks first dealings with Walter in the chemistry lab going over the missing equipment. Hanks says something like "Look out I'll be coming after you next" then laughs.

I'm rewatching it again as well.

Season 4 I think, Hank is looking through Gale's lab notebook and finds something about WW. He asks who is WW. Walter White?

Walter thinks for a minute what to do and suggests Walt Whitman. Hank bought it got the moment.

But you remember how that season ends, right?

:devilsmoke:

I just finished rewatching 1-4 as well. Ready for August 11!

I thought the same thing. I kept thinking, how the hell do they squeeze in this and this and this when there's only 3 episodes left this season???

Oops. I meant the end of season 5 part 1...

Spoiler:

Hank is sitting on the pot in Walt's house and starts looking for reading material. Finds a book of Walt Whitman poems that was given to Walt by Gale.

"To my other favorite W.W. It's an honor working with you.

Fondly,
G.B."

I'm sure you remember the end of season 4. It's pretty hard to forget. Has nothing to do with Gale, though.

Oh yeah. I saw that. I'm thinking that is going to be actually from Gretchen instead of Gale.
. Walter and Gretchen were dating and founded Gray Matter with Elliott. I remember that Walter came up with the name Gray Matter by combining White and Black. I believe Gretchen's maiden name was Black. She later married Elliott after Walter left the company.

With that being said, Hank thinks WW is Walter and GB is Gale Boetticher. These last eight episodes should be intense.

Hmmmmmmm... you may be onto something. So Elliot wasn't Black? Either way, it was either her maiden name or her name after marrying.

Either way it does not really matter. Hank knows Walt is Hisenberg. Chances are he will keep this finding to himself and build a strong case against Walt.

Also, found this show on Netflix last year and love it. Easily the best show I have ever seen. It amazes me how much walt has changed, from wanting just 737,000 to turning down 5 million. His ego and pride have gotten way out of hand. I am with the crowd that believes his cancer is back. They way he looked at the hand dryer he had previously beaten makes me think he feels foolish for being angry about his past good news. I think that is the reason he pulled out, so he could spend his remaining time with his family.

I can't wait to see this season.

Prediction: Skylar kills Walt after he lied to her about being 'out' of the business.

Blah I hope not; I've grown to really hate Skylar. Early on I liked her and felt sorry for her but now she's just IMHO as bad as Walt. She lost her moral high ground a long time ago.

I really wonder how Hank is going to deal with figuring out it's Walt. I know he loves busting drug guys, but I think he's going to have a struggle with it, given the family connections. I'm predicting he confronts Walt "off the record" and tells him if he gets out now he'll forget all about it, and Walter tells him to get bent.

This.

I still wonder who Walter is going to war with. He wasn't buying the machine gun for no reason. Is it the new guy who wants his methyl amine or is it the DEA?

I, like you no longer feel sorry for skyler. Walt signed the divorce papers, but she didn't. She had this coming for taking him back.

I myself think Hank will go after Walt. He has spent this whole series chasing Heisenberg and now he knows who it is. I think he will do some would searching and ultimately build a case against Walt. I think Walt will be tipped off somehow that Hank knows and go on the run. Just imagine a Hank and Walt showdown!:yikes:

We got just a glimpse of that with the bottle of tequila a couple seasons back. "BRING the bottle BACK!!!!

Yeah that was pretty awesome. Walt will have to devise yet another brilliant plan, because there is no way in hell he can beat Hank physically.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Walt kills Hank and stages it to look like he was killed in a sting drug deal gone bad; or even sets it up to frame Jesse, given the history of bad blood between Jesse and Hank.

Yah I could see Walt killing Hank, but that would be an all new low. Not that he wouldn't do it, but that would be his lowest point. I think Walt has four outcomes.
  • Jesse kills him.
  • Hank kills him.
  • Cancer kills him.
  • Or he lives but everyone he loved or cared for is dead.

I'm not sure it's all that much of a new low for him. He's shown that when push comes to shove, he ultimately cares about his own survival. He's manipulated almost everyone in his life, and he's proven he has no issues with killing someone who is in his way. I mean this is the guy who sent in his old lady neighbor to make sure there wasn't someone in his house waiting to kill him.

While Hank would definitely be the closest person to him he would off, if getting rid of Hank would keep him in business, I believe he'd definitely do it.

The BB crew at Comic Con. Check out how small Hank is in real life.
