Bray and thumb

the bone in brays thumb is completley healed. hes been throwing alot the past couple of days. getting the range of motion back and working out the muscle soreness are the issues. he will not come close to throwing as many balls during a game as he has the last few days. he will be fine.

Great news.
I think he needs to throw the ball 40 times a game.
Running game is weak at best.

BTW pistol offense would be better IMO then from using the I and spread formation. UT tips it's hand doing that. 75% of the time in the I formation its a running play, and if its spread formation it's a passing play.

I've noticed this as well. Its pretty evident when we are going to run the ball.

looked very good. has alot of zip and very accurate.

Ummm, I watched the video of him throwing on VolQuest. He threw about 15 deep balls and completed about 3 against no defenders. He underthrew one by about 10 yards. He was 1 of 3 on 5 yard slants against air.

To say he was very accurate is at best completely inaccurate.

Okay peeps, this staff will do whats best for the team. I think maybe Dooley is sayinf negative stuff to keep Vandy guessing. Happens in the NFL all of the time.

I got $5bucks that says it will be a game time decision...

I couldn't watch the one on TOS, but the one on UT Sports looked pretty good. Even saw a decent long ball or two. Didn't look 100% but better than I thought he would.

That video was just the first part of practice that the media is allowed to view. You can't assume he didnt get better as practice went on.

i havent watched the video but have a very good idea when it was recorded. let me guess, the wr's were half running and not really making any breaks for the deep balls?

Looked at the practice photos of Bray. He had a wincing in pain look in a few. I know he's sore now. But, his grip looked good. It didn't look like he was favoring the thumb on his grip. I think he'll be fine by game time Saturday.

That was just gas.:eek:lol:

I am thinking skeet might not want this thread getting to big. After seeing what DD said. It seems like he is trying to downplay the health of Bray.
