They all jumped us? How did OSU jump us? By losing to Purdue?
If that were a real bracket it would be ridiculous. Baylor would be drawing very tough 2 and 3 seeds. I think AZ will end up a 1 but a 2 is possible. It’ll come down to who wins the Pac12 tourney. Iowa St, UT, and UConn seem under seeded at a glance and Baylor would not like that second round game either. I hope we get to see Baylor and Auburn play. I’d like to see Kessler and/or Smith match up against Mayer.Bracketology: Purdue, UCLA basketball push for No 1 seed - Sports Illustrated
What an awful bracket. And a brutal draw for Tennessee. 2nd round matchup against Duke? Arizona in Sweet 16? Top-half of the bracket is weak though. I think Iowa State and Providence are very overrated.

I think Baylor is better than Purdue and possibly better than Gonzaga. Not Auburn but it’s close. It’s an interesting draw. I feel like the early games are brutal in relation the strength of their seed, but if you make it to the S16/E8 we match up well. I do NOT like the Illinois draw because Kofi would eat our posts for lunch and as you said we’d be playing a de facto road game against WVU in round 1.
Baylor is one of the weaker one seeds so if you avoid Auburn or Gonzaga I’m happy. We’ve beaten Arizona so not too bad either.
He must be getting seeding tips from 1985Vols and Mr. Checkerboards.
Joe Lunardi is going to have to explain to me how we dropped all the way from a 4-seed to a 6-seed by winning 4 of 5 games, while Alabama gets shelled by Auburn and moves UP and above us.
I'll probably just cheer for the earth to open up and swallow Coleman Coliseum. Then we all win.Apparently. I was originally hoping for Alabama to beat Kentucky tomorrow to close the gap on the 2-seed in the SECT, but I guess I'll be cheering for Kentucky since Alabama will not fall below a 4 or 5 unless they lose like 12-13 games. I guess the bad losses don't matter if you're Alabama.
Since Monday when he had us as a 4 seed (#16), we beat A&M at home…the teams he moves ahead of us: Ohio State(didn’t play), Xavier(won at home against unranked Butler), Illinois (beat Wisconsin), Marquette (beat Villanova) & Bama (lost to Auburn by 19). Illinois and Marquette is justifiable, the other 3 is bad considering what has occurred since his last update.
I don’t really mind where anyone has teams seeded as of today, assuming it’s somewhat reasonable, you wanna have Tennessee 3-6 seed ok, but don’t have them a 4 and drop them 5 spots when they won a game and 3/5 you moved ahead of them didn’t, that just doesn’t make sense.Yeah, his logic doesn't exactly make much sense. We should be a 5-seed at worst. I think we're one of a handful of teams to only have Q1 losses. It's like he decided to stop looking at NET and KenPom and other metrics and just checked the VolNation game threads where people decided this is an NIT team and he adjusted his seeding accordingly.
Not to mention Rick Pitino's Iona who beat BamaBracketology: Purdue, UCLA basketball push for No 1 seed - Sports Illustrated
