That looks like a possible Final 4 in The Big Dance, especially during that era. Well, minus UT, of course. You never know, if UT doesn't get matched up against Virginia and Ralph Sampson, in consecutive years, a couple of years before '85

That was ridiculous seeding. TN had to face Sampson in back-to-back years and he was the most dominating player in the NCAA.

In this rating they will if only because SOR is likely to be harder to maintain as they play in a weaker conference. But depsite their injuries they're playing great. They won yesterday by 40

Aside from Purdue I think the Big 10 is overrated on here. I don't agree w Illinois and Michigan St being over us. Illinois has losses to Marquette and Cincinnati, and their best win is, Iowa? Michigan St I'd say the quality of our wins is comparable at best, but we don't have a loss like one at home against Northwestern. Same goes for Ohio St.
They’re almost always overrated in both basketball and football.

generally play with a group of b10 blokes in bowl and bracket money games
they're the reason I'm well on the up side
In the NCAA tournament the Big 10’s teams usually don’t advance as far as their seeds say they should and the SEC usually outplays it’s seeding on the whole. Now this year that might not be true if the SEC as it’s getting more respect nationally so the seeding might be better than usual but that remains to be seen.

Ohio State in Pittsburgh would be a pretty brutal second round game for a 3 seed

That was ridiculous seeding. TN had to face Sampson in back-to-back years and he was the most dominating player in the NCAA.

I was a huge UNC fan until I transferred to UT. Even then I loved the Tarheels in 🏀. I recall as a kid find to my rec basketball game on a Sat morning then coming home to watch Jordan and the Heels play Sampson. Ralph was dominant but UVA underachieved w him. He had bad knees so his NBA career wasn’t stellar. Last I heard he was living in VA and had major financial issues.

Great basketball 🏀 in the 80s.

Ralph was a freak. 7’4” and a highly skilled, finesse post. A lot like Kareem.
