I agree, Boo clearly gave up on the play when he got beat. Was pretty disappointing to see the lack of effort.

In fairness and a few plays earlier, he is the one that put the hit on Kentucky #9 who coughed it up last. He's oddly inconsistent?

I'm just a messenger. I don't think it can get worse even if hood is out awhile.
He plays on and off also. We gave up 5 td passes to Ky, how can it get any worse?

People are quick to jump on Boo, but I just have to point out McCoy is playing hookie. And when this kind of environment exists it permeates to that entire side of the football.

I said what I said, and McCoy holding out is a huge gamble for him to take.

Eddie Jackson of Alabama in 2014 had the same injury April of that year. Came back and started 8 games. We all know McCoy should have been back weeks ago

If McCoy was able to play, he would be on the field. What evidence do you have to back up that statement? You can bet that if he were able to play, Heupel would have him on the field.

I tend to agree with you about Boo. Last year, as a true freshman, he was all over the field making plays, running punts back for good or great field position. This year, he seems almost non-existent. I tend to agree with several other posters on here that he is playing out the string, then will transfer after the season. Pity, he is a very talented young man.

I don’t know why Heupel tolerated him coming back but I would have dismissed him. Tennessee did/does have a lot of NIL money tied up in him for this season that had already been paid. Plus they knew McCoy was already out. I’d suspect he’ll leave or be told to leave at the end of the year. The kid took terrible advice. He’ll play next year for 1/4 or less what Tennessee is paying him and his reputation in Tennessee will be tarnished instead of having potential post career opportunities here.

Leg was basically stuck bent and no cartilage left so didn’t really have a choice. Wanted to get back to golf while I could but decided to hoop again like a genius and tore patellar tendon on the other leg. 9 leg surgeries since ‘88. Science has progressed for sure but tissue and graft healing still takes time.

I think Boo Carter is about to have a SCARY good game on November 1st. Think there will be a lot of folks who save their boos on Halloween. Build up a cache, you know. Not something that regularly needs clearing to make certain internet sites function. The other kind.
