Even if Kiffin gets Heaps (not many other uncommitted elite QBs left for the shallow 2010 class), Kiffin may not last to see Heaps' sophomore year. Our SEC schedule (not to mention Oregon coming to town) in 2010 is BRUTAL, even for an experienced SEC-level signal caller.
2009 will be a rebuilding year, but if there is not significant progress in 2010, bye bye Lane. Also, it's no guarantee that Kiffin will even sign a top-flight QB this year. If that is the case, then our rebuilding will continue for several years because we'll have a new coach. Gruden in 2010!!!
