I understand what you're saying but put yourself in Coleman's shoes (sorry can't call him BJ). If the coaching staff told you, which apparently happened if you read between the lines, that you wouldn't be playing very much for the Vols due to your percieved limitations wouldn't you want to go somewhere you would get a better chance to play?
When decisions are made based of od emotions, you usually reget your decision. Let's hope this blows over and BJ stays with the team.
Even if Kiffin announced today that Crompton would be the starter, Coleman or Stephens could still beat him out. Remember, with Kiffin the competition never ends.
If he starts it's because he earned it. Losing Coleman isn't the end of the world. He wasn't going to make or break this team. Regardless of what most think, he wasn't that good.
Here is the thing with this. If CLK dosent know about BJ quitting and BJ goes and runs his mouth to the press...Do you think that CLK will let him walk back on the field...hell no...that would be a bad example for the team and breaks chemistry..T.O. type mentality
CLK will not tolerate that crap...BJ just made his bed
