BJ Coleman (Merged)

Stephens obviously has catching up to do due to his injury. At this point in time I think BJ is the better of he and Crompton.....making better decisions and leadership. But our coaches know what they are doing and I have faith in them. Regarding height....I looked it up on the roster. Really no difference. BJ is 6'3 and Crompton and Stephens are 6'4. Go Vols!

If you look at them when they are going through their warm up drills...BJ looks like a midget beside Stephens..just an observation

Coleman leaves UT program

University of Tennessee sophomore quarterback B.J. Coleman has informed the Times Free Press that he is leaving the program.

Frustrated by what he believes is a lack of opportunity to win the starting job, Coleman is not sure what his future plans will include.

“It’s the best move for me,” Coleman said. “What changed my mind is, after this spring, I don’t see myself getting a fair shake. Based on conversations with coaches and things that happened this spring, I feel the staff has goals that do not include me.

“I didn’t just quit. I didn’t just walk out. But I’m going to be taking a huge risk of losing another year of eligibility if I stay. I just want to play ball.”

I knew it, I heard about this on Basilio's Show. Not good thing, I really wish he would stay cause we are pretty much SKA-ROO-ED!!!!

You would think the coaching staff could've talked some sense into him, unless this is in their plans...........
