Geno done exactly what every fan base in America does, blame the loss on the officials. It's a tiresome complaint that will never end...

When SC beats UConn his excuse is "they play too physical, it's not basketball". If only his team played in the SEC.

How many times has Geno lost to a first year coach? Man, the young ladies out there are seeing what’s being built in Knoxville. And it looks strong and good. Great job CKC and Lady Vols.

She's not a first-year coach, except at Tennessee. Actually, that was two coaches with national championship rings. Yes, Kim's was in D2, but coaching is coaching. She took her team and beat his team with the All-American and the best freshman in the country.

I think Geno said enough after the game when he said he wished she'd stayed home with the baby. I am 100 percent certain that was the first time he'd wished the Tennessee coach wasn't present since the one who's name on the court was his opponent.

I just finished watching this entire game for the 3rd time...I can't get enough of this "BIG" win...The ladies played hard, energetic, and consistent all night...The place was lit and so many former players in the house...I've witnessed 1000+ LadyVol games and this one is in my TOP 10 ...Go LVFL

I hear ya! I often post about how sometimes a game happens in which the heavy underdog simply has a magical day ... everything comes together physically and mentally for one team and they win in a way that leaves everyone with feelings that are surreal. Spiritual, even.

I can't remember the last time that happened for the Lady Vols, but it certainly felt -- STILL feels to me -- like the universe gave Tennessee some magic Thursday. What I've watched in awe happen to OTHER teams in the past finally happened to the Lady Vols. Even the idea of getting 40 minutes of focused energy from 10 young women in the same game seemed almost impossible -- and then it happened.

The adrenaline rushes they all got from that game is a well I hope they'll all going to finish this season.

I don't think she has lost a step in a permanent sense. Paige was brilliant in the last year's NCAA tournament. She is in a slump right now and may be feeling that knee aggravation she picked up earlier in the season but she will likely be a force once tournament time rolls around.

Sorry, but they truly did. Weakest UConn team I've seen in a long, long time. Don't mean to pile on but they won't go far in March.

I said earlier, we use to think when Azzi and Paige got to play togetherr they'd be unstoppable. Hasn't turned out that way.

Great win for the LVs! I knew we were due a good shooting night. Everything finally came together

Yep I was wrong. Often am.

Still think the UConn team that played here that night was the worst Ive seen them play or be coached. They were woefully unprepared and overwhelmed. Never seen that.

What I didn’t see coming was how they responded. Quite a turnaround.
