The holes were open for Lynch, too....He just didn't see them.
And the lanes in the kicking game....open as well, the returners just didn't see them.
I think the only thing that Cal didn't see was our team since we were 35 points ahead of them before they showed up.
Since you are so good at forseeing the future, can you tell me the Powerball numbers?![]()
That would be nice. You guys think i'm flaming tenn but really that's not true. I just think Cal couldn't possibly play as poorly as we did last year. Certainly not on offense. We have the experience at oline, secondary, and QB that we didn't have last year. That is my point. With our dline unproven you oline could dominate. . . but our linebacking core returns a lot of top talent and we only have one spot to fill in the secondary.
yeah he went for the pick. in high school he would have had it, that's what lack of experience does for you.
You know I like you, but I hear way way way too many excuses from your fanbase, and sometimes you. Erik Ainge was coming off a season where he looked worse than you or me out there.
We had more question marks coming in than Cal did.

Don't be too quick to throw out wagers like that. Teddy Ginn Jr was supposed to be a CB in college. He was put at receiver because he was faster than Michael Jenkins and Santonio Holmes (2 1st round picks).
Point being, Berry will be faster than any WR on our roster. There is going to be an opportunity for him to play alot. With the way Evans and Johnson looked in the O&W game (pretty good) the coaches would be idiots to keep him off the field. (Oxymoron I know)
It was a mix of talent and experience that won the game.
I doubt he'll be faster than Brent Vinson. I'm almost certain Kenny O'Neal is faster.
fair enough. I just think that cal has the advantage on experience this time around. and our talent isn't exaclty mountain west material despite what hatvol will lead you to believe. edit: i'm not saying Cal's talent is superior to tenn, btw, just comparable.
Who knows? I'm in agreement with you on Vinson and O'Neal, but I'm not breaking out the anointing oils yet for any of these guys, just showing an example of a guy predicted to play one place and wound up somewhere else.
