Basilio gonna have Lane Kiffin on

I believe if Kiffin had stayed he would have done well. I believe he is an excellent recruiter and coach. His personal life and the way he left would probably prevent him from ever returning, but I believe UT would do well on the field if he were the coach. I believe USC was his dream job when he left and that he did not expect the sanctions to be as hard as they were. The recruiting sanctions negated some of his natural advantages as a recruiter. He did well as the offensive coordinator for Alabama. We were competitive on the field when he was here, with limited talent and had he stayed the talent on the field would have been better. He probably has wondered "what if" in in mind. Rarely do we get another chance to go back.

From the "my opinion really matters to no one but me," file.
If they were to hire Lane Kiffin again I will not support the team regardless of how well they do.
That jackass raised his middle finger and deserted UT at the worst possible time. He may as well have spit right in the players and fans faces. I will never forget that. That slimy, lying SOB should be ashamed to even speak about UT.
If he had any honor at all he would just off his slimy self and be done with it.

Recruiting TO Tennessee. Those guys were literally enrolled at the school, and their only escape clause was that they had not technically attended a class yet.

Ruthless or not, that is a bad look for a coach.

Y’all got it all wrong that wasn’t Kiffin it was Joey freshwater. I see how you made that mistake

It was amazing what Kiffin did to turn Crompton around... for that, I give him respect, but I wouldn't want him and his sideshow back to UT.

Our offense would be twice what it is now if Kiffin were the coach. Granted, that's a low bar, but Kiffin is a damn good offensive coach.

For me, it's the fact that Lane Kiffin is a terrible head coach (and person)

Please KIffin is a good coach and he would have won big here. All the people on here that question his ability to coach are just mad at how he left UT. I didnt like it either but the truth is he can coach football and he is GREAT at developing QBs.

He won 7 games here.

He failed at USC.

What has he “won” as a HC instead of an OC?
