Unless he apologizes for running out the back door while leaving our program in 'AA jeopardy, I don't care what he says.

He's already said the biggest mistake he's ever made was walking out on UT

I have no doubt he regrets that. He went into a bad situation at USC and I doubt he would have made that move had he known the sanctions that were about to be handed down.

That being said, he probably would have gotten us into major trouble here. Still, I don’t hate the guy. He’s kind of like that shady friend we all have that we know we shouldn’t hang out with, but every so often we do anyway only to get in a mess that anyone could have foreseen.

Oh boy, the guy who thinks Tyndall is a better coach than Barnes and thinks he was innocent having another sleaze on his show.

Hindsight is 20/20. He only says that because he was an abject failure at USCw. If he were still coaching there, he'd say leaving Tennessee was his best decision ever. Admitting that it was a mistake after the fact is hardly an apology. He took the chance to land his dream job. I don't necessarily blame him for that, but I don't appreciate the manner in which he left and tried to take committed/enrolled kids with him. That was low rent.

He’s questioned the level of punishment Tyndall received, but I’ve never heard him call Tyndall innocent. He has also repeatedly referred to Tyndall as the worst hire UT ever made.

It’s not the fact that Kiffin left, it’s the way he did it.

He’s pissed too many people off here and I don’t think our Administration would take him back even if he wanted too.

Which would be a smart thing to do.

Sorry, but I don’t think he deserves any sympathy.

He didn’t care then so why should he start now? Because he was a failure at USC who got ran out of town.

He deserves to feel guilty leaving UT.

He has called Tyndall the biggest crook in college basketball

Well those was the guys HE was recruiting. It's the guys he wanted. Recruiting is ruthless regardless.

Exactly.

He had to know USC was about to get slammed by the AA. No way he didn't know what was going on there before he left. Dream job or not, it was a terrible time to move to LA, foolish to leave UT after one season and made our situation considerably worse. He got what he deserved out there, which was a dream that turned into a nightmare.

He's a douche no other way to put it. The guy knows offense and is ten times the play caller that we currently have.

Recruiting TO Tennessee. Those guys were literally enrolled at the school, and their only escape clause was that they had not technically attended a class yet.

Ruthless or not, that is a bad look for a coach.
