Bash Dooley here....

I love it how people KNOW for certain how Dooley will do here. If I had that kind of insight, I'd be betting on horse races and playing the lottery as much as I could...

I thought you were better than that.

I've said this hire sucks since the moment it happened.

That's fine. Again my problem is the Volnation has no alternative as to the hiring of the head coaching position so instead of saying that the coach on the payroll is going to suck (which no one can obviously know that for sure) maybe it would be more productive to say let's see what happens and root him and the team on. Of course, if you're right everybody will be in awe of all of you coaching experts and will have to apologize.

By supporting i mean wait til he has coached a game, and after the season make all the negative comments you want. After all I didnt see all this crap when Kiffin whos only relevant coaching stop is OC at USC was hired.
OC of one of the greatest offenses ever? Already known to be an exceptional recruiter. Put together a ridiculously good staff. You may hate him. I do. But there's a huge difference between the two situations.

That's not quite the same... Unless you're comparing Dooley's odds to winning the lottery...

I'm not looking for validation on here.

I want to win, and when I feel that the product laid in front of me sucks I will say it.

Not quite the same but not altogether different either. No one knows for sure that Dooley will fail, they can make a guess but that's it. Unless they can predict the future, they don't know. I see people all the time say he WILL fail like it's a certainty.

While I agree that O was sick, and he is a great recruiter but lets be honest we were staring down the road of probation. But he as a HC is worse than Dooley.

Hamilton couldn't have hired a better coach at the time being, but he could've kept Kippy Brown on until a better coach came along. I think he should've done that, and he would've, but they thought the recruiting class, including the EE's, was going to completely dismantle.

Could've, Should've, Would've, but didn't. Let's withhold the bashing, at least until after the first few games. The bashing does nothing to contribute to Tennessee football at this time.

So saying UAB could upset us, but there is no chance of us upsetting anyone isnt negative? This just shows how closed minded some of you haters are!!

Okay, with an upset in our favor then, we could start 3-5.

Does that sound positive?

With so many people that think the Dooley was such a bad hire, I'm surprised that there are so few examples of ineptness aside from his past record. Am I wrong? Where are the violations, the quotes of stupidity?

pretty sure that it is the same...unless you are comparing the odds of winning the lottery with your odds of predicting each play and the outcome of every game this year...
