Tennessee will be back. It's just going to take longer than everyone wishes, though. After DD is ran out of town in 2-3 years, the pocket books will open wider.

A 2-6 start is probably picking the favorite team to win the first 8 games we play. 1-7 is simply giving UAB credit for a possible upset (as we should be favored).

I was telling you the reason of the downfall last season. He was 8-5 the year before at LT with their first bowl win in 30 years. Then his team had a substantial amount of injuries last year. "FACTS"

And most of us are tired of you and SGM making the same well if hes 17-20 at Tech then he bound to fail without coaching a game with better talent, more money, and top notch facilities.

Let's reward that mediocrity by handing him the keys to the 2nd most successful team in SEC history.

The switch is not going to just flip the other direction.

He was in a hotbed for talent in a sorry excuse for a conference and couldn't win.

Excuse me for not being giddy like you all who bury your heads in the sand.

Yeah... couldn't possibly be reasons for a tough 3rd season at a perennial homecoming fodder school... maybe like having 20 starters out for significant portions of the year on a team with little talent or depth?

People (including you I think) excused Kiffin for going 7-6 with a team that put 7 guys in the NFL. Seems you could lighten up on the record thing a little bit.

If anyone could have done ANYTHING with that program, it would be considered a miracle and you know it (which he did). He had them in the right direction whether you want to believe it or not.

There is nothing we can do about it...Just wait and see. Let him coach a freakin game before you judge him. What assistant coaches were at La Tech anyway? I think the ones he has here are much better than the ones he had there. Just my two cents.
