but True Freshman Harrison Bailey definitely is??? You don't know that.

But Id i sure like to find out what he's capable of in the game. And Maurer.

But Pruitt won't let that happen

I know the other guys are NOT the guys. Harrison Bailey has to be. He’s the highly recruited QB everyone waited for and he’s all we have left. We knew we had this issue and Pruitt put all his eggs in the Harrison Bailey basket by not bringing in another QB or transfer. That tells me they think HB will be the guy.

I know Salter is another talented QB recruit coming in, but he’s not here yet.

yes this game was out of reach for most of the 4th qtr. get your back up some game experience, it is obvious jg is gona be the starter, but he could get hurt, and no one with any snaps at all this year in a game, terrible, get them game experience.

Maybe but in 2020, it doesn’t matter. This is basically an “asterisk year”...... i do wish we’d just ride with Maurer / Shrout / Bailey and play for the future. JG has topped out in every way possible. I mentioned this last season. Pruitt can’t afford to roll into year 4 with Bailey being new or Maurer/Shrout not having serious playing time all because he rode with JG. Given the current situation with pandemic, I would never make a fire or job status decision on Pruitt this season. However, he will be on hot seat in year 4 if we go like 5-5/6-4 this year and we roll into 2021 with our starting QB in season opener not having serious playing time.

What’s most concerning is that none of the young QBs has shown enough to really challenge for the starting job.

I totally disagree with you on that, of course it is just our opinions, but in my opinion both Strout and Maurer both showed much more potential than jg. And I am saying potential, we need our other qb's playing time for the future.

You should watch the bama ole miss game, just need a qb who is not afraid to throw the ball, just seen a play by ole miss jg would not have even thrown the ball, he would have taken a sack and this one went for a td, he threw the receiver open,

According to Basilio, our staff doesn't seem to be all that thrilled with any of the other QB's on the roster. Think he said they just don't like any of them. He questioned why you sign kids you don't like. Not sure how much stock I put into this as it is coming from Basilio, but it might explain why they keep turning to JG despite his performances.

Guarantano has done a lot for this program and probably hasnt had a fair shake with the sketchy o lines hes had and multiple coordinators but he isnt the future. Start bailey and let's roll. We will only fail long run with guarantano

I say long run tongue in check because I'm afraid he will try to return next season. Put a stake in this NOW.
