Baggett gone

Playing devil's advocate here, but what if the reason the other receivers were barely serviceable was not that they were under talented, but that the talent of DR and JH made CCB look like he was doing more than he was?

Actually thats not really true. The only WR's producing period were Hunter and D. Rogers. IMHO they would be doing the same thing if mickey mouse was coaching them. Not a single other WR on the team has produced. Our third best WR was a RB. Rivera has been a pretty decent surprise but again I think that was mostly natural talent and PT. Anyway doesn't the oline coach take TE's?

thank you!!!!

our receivers are not coached very well. they run sloppy routes. i have thought this was the case all year long. that is coaching. watch how Arkansas receivers run their routes. Petrino gets production and most times its not that they are the best but they do focus on fundamentals.

Are our recievers playing so lights out that this is that great of a loss.....I mean KY's db's locked our guys down....

I think everyone is blowing the loss of an "over-the-hill" WR coach a little out of proportion...of course tis par for the course!

I'm surprised (maybe not that surprised ) it took 6-8 pages for this to be actually said. :good!:

What about when we finally let HH go, can we get Tee to coach wr's (whatever sense that makes) and Jay as rb coach?

We need to let somebody go on defense, so Al can coach over there too!

Can't wait til Peyton retires from the NoFunLeague.

Then it would be an issue with a coach, not the player that forced him out. People act like Da'rick is such a problem that poor little Bagget couldn't take it anymore. That isn't the case.

You are correct to an extent. It is obvious there is serious schism on this team. Bit do not think for one moment that DR is not playing a role in the division

Tee Martin on this staff would be huge I think. Get some of that Tennessee blood back on staff like a lot of you wanted

Or a Tiger. You're helpless if you don't think losing CCB hurts the recruitment of CP and Howard.

Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. You don't know. Maybe the replacement is someone CP and Howard like? You continue to be negative and I'll continue to be positive until we know for certain.

CP could very well end up somewhere other than Knoxville, we don't know yet, he might have even if CB stayed...either way it won't make or break this very good recruiting class that's coming in.

Looking like Tee Martin will be canidate #1.

I'm liking this.
And if we can't get Larry Porter, and it's looking like he may end up at tOSu, then I wish we could get Jay Graham back to Tn to coach our backs. I know that probably won't happen, but I hope we get Tee.

The man has coached WR's for quite a while. Going out on a limb here, but I highly doubt that Da'rick was the first player that caused him problems. If one player can scare him off, he's obviously not as qualified for the job as a lot of you think.

Your making incorrect assumptions when you say that he allowed a SOPH WR run him off from the program. DR is not the reason he is leaving I assure you that. This is how rumors get started, because everyone is grasping at straws as to the reason why he doesn't want to be on the staff next year. He's retiring, that remains to be seen for how long.

Read my other posts. That is definitely not what I am saying.
