What in the hell is going on over there? Makes zero sense. This program is a disaster right now.. this is one is really gonna hurt us. I hope it is not because if what I think it is that pushed him out.

Think someone said Hinshaw used to coach WR

I hmm, so Porter could be in coaching), Chaney coaching qb's. Just guessing here. I think LWS said yesterday that Porter had offer, so someone would have to leave and make room. We shall see

Why is Baggett leaving?
Why?

Would you want to stay with a program who's head coach will get canned within the next year or two?

That's what I'm asking.
Is that the reason he's leaving? Sinking Ship?
Is DaRick the reason he's leaving?
Is Dooley not "correcting" DaRick the reason he's leaving?
Has he been offered a better job elsewhere?
Was he let go like Chuck Smith? Differences in coaching philosophy?
Is this Dooley's answer to our abysmal season?

Why?

The biggest problem on offense by far is the woefully pathetic offensive line, so what does Doo-little do, he gets rid of the Receivers coach !

Brilliant move !!! :good!:

Didn't see you use the word probably here 87? looks like you kind of jumped to conclusions...

"it's a mat that you Jump! to conclusions!"

Actually thats not really true. The only WR's producing period were Hunter and D. Rogers. IMHO they would be doing the same thing if mickey mouse was coaching them. Not a single other WR on the team has produced. Our third best WR was a RB. Rivera has been a pretty decent surprise but again I think that was mostly natural talent and PT. Anyway doesn't the oline coach take TE's?

If a coach has a different agenda than everybody else on staff. It doesn't matter how good he is.

The offensive staff just lost the one competent assistant that it had. How is that a positive shift?

Well I think the staff needs a big makover in the offensive dept. IF this is the only change it is obviously not a positive.

But if we get rid of Heistad and Baggett retires and we bring in two new great assistants for RB and OL and Hinshaw shifts to WR and Chaney takes over QB, then maybe the new blood will be able to bring a spark to the O.

The man has coached WR's for quite a while. Going out on a limb here, but I highly doubt that Da'rick was the first player that caused him problems. If one player can scare him off, he's obviously not as qualified for the job as a lot of you think.

Just based on what has been talked about from many circles the last couple of days, one person that is "a cancer" can take down an entire team, department, section, if allowed.

I had an employee that was excellent at their job but was a complete nutcase that stirred up garbage and was not a team player. The day I got rid of them, the whole demeanor of the department changed. That person was replaced and all is well.

If DR, or anyone else for that matter, is causing big-time problems within the team, it is time to cut them loose.

thank you!!!!

our receivers are not coached very well. they run sloppy routes. i have thought this was the case all year long. that is coaching. watch how Arkansas receivers run their routes. Petrino gets production and most times its not that they are the best but they do focus on fundamentals.

Exactly this guy has coached Plaxico and Randy Moss...don't think Da'Rick is the reason he is leaving.

He has been a great recruiter, but that can be replaced.

But a head coach siding with a player over the position coach can sure push someone out. Allegedly

You're not the slickest frog in the pond, are you?
How do you know Baggett isn't leaving on his own?

When you make an assumption, it makes an ass out of you and umption.....

I may be going out on a limb here, but it's pretty ridiculous to assume that Baggett is leaving because Da'Rick's attitude ... i mean, seriously people?
