You just admitted that it has nothing to do with "wearing a dress" then, just about protecting your feelings. And most good bands are anti-establishment, not "pro USA"
I don't even know who this Bunny is, but the notion of an alternative, right wing, half time show to offset him suggests that the motivation is not pure.
Why do you say they haven't factored in their core audience? What do you base that on?The last 7 years under Jay Z is the the payback for having Maroon 5 and Coldplay as headliners...
Part of me actually hopes the TPUSA counterprogramming does well. I think that will cause the NFL to factor in the wishes of its core audience more than it has recently....
Apple Music is picking it (yes, the NFL ultimately signs off but they arent going against Apple unless they have a really good reason).
The core NFL viewer does not care about Bunny, or Weeknd or Kendrick.
I wouldn't want to see a Lee Greenwood concert either but there has to be someone that spans a wider genre and audience. They sure as hell don't want to see Lee Greenwood play a 30 minute rendition of "Proud to be an American" either.

They pretty much ruined that song for me by making it a right-wing anthem. They sure as hell don't want to see Lee Greenwood play a 30 minute rendition of "Proud to be an American" either.

I hate current society so much.
I dmhad never heard of bad bunny a couple weeks ago and now I can't go to any kind of social media without seeing something about him. And it's because we can't keep politics out of anything in modern society.
