A lot of fans really just dont like Tee. Hard to believe he was the starting QB and if it werent for him we wouldnt have a national title since the 50s..

I would like to see Tee on this staff. I think there were some sour grapes from when that Dooley idiot didn't want him now though. I would hope we have a shot at snagging him. Tee Martin would be able to coach up Tee Higgins!

Nope. Azzanni is one of our top recruiters. There was a reason he was promoted.

Unless the new staff keeps him, it looks like Tee will be looking for work soon. If any coach needs to be replaced, I think it's Azzanni. I've heard multiple in the know folks say that the WRs aren't getting open or finishing their routes.

Tee's son goes to Catholic, and is a 2017 USC commit right now.

Tennessee shouldn't be held accountable what that dickwad Derek Dooley did. He's a Georgia-Saban boy. Nothing more.

I would love to see him join the staff and Butch should do anything he can to make it happen. People on this site clamor for Gruden who (by many accounts) rejected UT yet they wouldn't take Tee who did the same. Plenty of coaches have turned UT down. We going to refuse to hire any of them? Jay Graham took off, but surely we would welcome him back. Lance Thompson took off, would we not have him back as LB or DL coach?

I have no idea how Tee has been as a WR coach. Is he known for coaching WR's or recruiting? Both? Neither? I just remember hearing that when Tee was playing here he would call the same protection on every play because he couldn't recognize defensive fronts. That makes me think he may not be a very accomplished coach at any position.

I have no hard feelings toward Tee. The dude won a national title for the Vols.

Yeah keeping thinking he was the main reason we won it in 1998. Even though I really dont want Tee, he would be a drastic upgrade over ZA. Dont see it happening though.

If there are changes to be made, I'd rather Jones focus more on getting good coaches rather than good recruiters. Coaching up the talent we currently have should lead to some more victories which in turn should attract elite recruits. He may also be able to draw from their experiences. Jones has shown he can recruit. We need better coaches.

Where the heck did this come from? He just got a promotion this year to passing game coordinator and now he's needs to be "out" in your opinion? Granted, our passing game has struggled but im sure equal blame can be distributed between the new OC, Dobbs' inaccuracy, and WR injuries, etc..

In my opinion, the secondary is the weakest link so Martinez would be the coach with the hottest seat. We havent recruited for the secondary like we shouldve or we arent developing the talent we have. Either way, something has to give. Randolph isnt having a good season, (excluding the last play against UGA), Mosely is well......you know, not very good and McNeil, and the other part timers that play in the secondary arent getting it done. TKjr is the only bright spot I can see.

Tee can stick it.......... cal is where he wanted to be.... burnt the Vols already. Came here for interview for free knowing he was going to turn Butch down. He is no VFL as far as I am concerned.

Lance Thompson's recruiting was hot garbage at Tennessee. That much I am sure of.

It was not the right time for tee or his family. He was very torn about that decision. It was the hardest decision he had to make, but his family comes first and the timing was off. He wants to be back in Knoxville. It kills me to see so many hate on a man for being an upright person, and a man that is a VFL through and through.

I dont see Azzanni going anywhere but I believe Tee would be welcomed back by the vast majority of UT fans if a spot came open.

Well he certainly didn't handle it well

Wow, let's run off T, that is the silliest. Sounds like the first hand knowledge, the timing was off, there is no good way to turn down a job like he was offered. I say let him come home just like Majors and Fulmer did, no need in makeing it bigger than it is. We all make mistakes, no telling what Kiffin told him. I say find him a spot, something he is good at, and can make an impact. And let him do his thing.

Go Vols!
