Automobilia etc....

What car that you owned do you miss the most?

I miss my 2007 Mazdaspeed 3. That thing was a lot of fun, great torque and it sounded fantastic. That said, my little 2016 3 is a lot of fun. Way more fun than any car which gets 40mpg on the highway should be.

I'm also miss my Miata, it felt like a classic car, but I trusted it to start everyday. The S2000 is great, but it feels really serious as where the Miata felt like a fun toy.

Gonna sound silly but I had a Trailblazer that I wish I would've kept. It was a good, dependable vehicle with plenty of room and towing ability. And I liked the straight 6 it had in it.

Ironically enough, I traded it in to get a Miata.

What did you think of the Miata?

2003 Lightning. Loved that truck, mainly because I left it stock. So much fun to see the ricers faces as the truck was whipping their tail. I had a 2001 L that was modded to run mid 12's. One night at test n tune @ MMSP I got lined up next to an early 90s vette. He was laughing and making stupid faces in the staging lanes. When I busted his a&& down the track he went straight to the exits, never even stopped. I was in the Memphis SVTOA at the time and they got a good laugh watching it play out.

Haha!

How difficult is it to get one of those things to hook up? That's a lot of power going to a set of wheels with little weight.

I love the ford lightning.

Stall converter and Slicks were necessary for the best 60'. I usually just ran the Nitto 555R's and stalled it around 2400 rpm. With that you had to get the tires hot, then gas it to about 75% when the third red light came on. Once it hooked, hit the floor and listen to the supercharger whine. A wonderful sound!!

I imagine that you could throw a lot of power at that engine while still running stock internals?

Its odd, but I had a 1991 Toyota pickup, 2wd. It was as plain as it could be, but I LOVED that little truck. It was the perfect vehicle for me when I was single.

I have no doubt where ever it ended up, it will survive the nuclear apocalypse and be driven by whatever beings later inhabit earth.

For $6k, you can drive this classic! :) Perhaps the ugliest POS to ever be driven on the road. Lol Truckers nicknamed them "Fishbowl on Wheels".

The K car from Chrysler/Diodge was a POS

My first car. Lol. Was a TVA company car that my pappaw got for 1k. Bench seat...had a lot of teenage sex in that piece of crap. Bench seats are great for that lol. It was indestructible. Wrecked it at least a half dozen times. Totaled a nissan maxima and drove the k car away. Lol.

Car that i miss the most, honestly? I had a 2003? Ford focus hatch 3 door that only had 3 options
The bigger VTEC engine.
Aluminum alloy rims.
Great stereo.

It was a 5 speed, and a blast to drive. A lot like a honda CRX. 33mpg highway and surprisingly quick...VTEC engines make peak hp at redline...so tou have to wind them out. Great car
No repairs up to 135k miles...then i totaled it

Vehicle i miss the most is honda CBR600. streetbikes are insanely fast
...an 8000 dollar honda will outrun a 100,000 dollar supercar...all day...every day
Its not close. 125hp, 400lbs dry.
