Automobilia etc....

Right. I'm talking about vehicle size. Customers often buy a car with size in mind.

Oh right. I actually believe the Element is more spacious than the CRV. Those "small box cars" actually have a ton of interior space. I'm 6'1", 230lbs, and my xB is plenty big for me. And in my trunk there's a key machine, big tool box, locks and various door hardware. Worked great for tailgating, too, but now I have an X3 for that 😎.

Looks like I was mistaken, they were about the same size indeed. An ex girlfriend had an element and it felt a little small.

Comically, I've had 3 of those 4 as work vehicles since 2003. A white PT, a red panel version HHR, and an 06 old body XB. The XB was the better vehicle by far, which is why I bought a new body XB when they came out.

I tried driving an HHR as a rental, most uncomfortable driving position I've ever experienced in a vehicle. Center console and binnacle forced my right leg into an awkward angle that was borderline painful. Took it back to Enterprise and swapped it for a Jeep Compass.

The PT would always over heat and HHR had tons of electrical issues. The 06 XB, however, ran and ran and ran and now my 09 has 135k and it's still as strong as ever. My buddy had an Element and we beat the crap out of that thing. Great cars.

Elements hold their value fairly well. When I was in the market about a month ago, my $5k max budget was about 2 grand short of most Elements that I found listed.

Haha I'll sell you an XB! I'm about to buy one of these and never look back..

Sprinter or a Metris?

My dad has the new Metris and to me it looks like a European taxi haha. I'm going to get the Sprinter Worker. It's got a shorter wheel base so it doesn't feel like you're driving a school bus, but it's tall enough inside so that I can stand up and keep all of my door hardware on hand.

The level of detail involved with this car is almost stupid.

The new Top Gear is awful. Watching the first episode and I'm ready to change the channel. They somehow made it worse than the American version.

The following episodes get better along with the gradual reduction of Chris Evans screen time.

Drove the new Ridgeline today. Great interior. Drives/handles like a car. Nice size compared to my fullsize Sierra.

Just wish you didn't have to max out the options to get a dang rear sliding window.

Just pulled the trigger on a 2015 Corvette convertible. Shark gray, black interior, Z51 suspension, loaded interior, 7sp manual trans with 906 miles on it. Flying to Houston next week to pick it up and drive it home.

So excited.

Wanted to take a second to introduce myself to my Volunteer brethren and sisteren. Name's J.B., and I am a sales professional here at Frank Fletcher Ford in beautiful Joplin, Missouri. The reason I come to y'all today is because I'm not originally from this area, and as such I don't have a base of folks to ask about new vehicles. That's why I come to y'all, with my Vols hat (that I'm not allowed to wear at work, silly Sooner fans) in hand. If y'all are in the area, if you know anyone in the area, please, PLEASE mention me to them. I know it's asking a favor that I ain't owed, but I would greatly appreciate it if you would. I can be reached via Facebook at Facebook dot com/jbinjoplin, or if you would like my cell number, shoot me an email at jeremy.bristol.51@gmail.com and I will get it right back to you.

Thanks again, y'all....and as always GO BIG ORANGE.
