No, i've had it for a couple of years. Got it for 900 and then the crank broke. Put in a new motor and she's been running good. Even brought it up through the smokies, quite a haul from south florida.

New is a few thousand. I bought a used one for 300 and rebuilt it with new bearings, etc. I was all in at around 1000.

These cars require no practicality whatsoever.

Not sure. I think it was a Burt owned car, but, probably not a movie car. They used several in filming and most were destroyed during stunts.
