Seriously Nerd, this seems to be a problem with a lot of people I know. A good start is using a decent rice, but with that said, there are a couple of things I will share.
Use a large pan instead of a pot, it gives the rice more space.
Put the rice in the pan and add the boiling water or stock instead of the other way around. Adding the rice to the water first needs to be stirred. Turn the heat on low/simmer whatever your stove dial has.
Add salt. A lot of people hate to add salt to anything, but salt will help absorb moisture.
Cover it and leave it alone. Stir it one time with a fork between the beginning and ending cook time.
Take it off the stove and remove the cover and replace it with a towel (that helps absorb unneeded moisture.
Fluff it with a fork.
Hope that helps.

Non-denominational (protestant). Growing up I was jealous of baptists and catholics cause I didn't have a "kind" of church. lol When I said "Christian" they'd say "everybody's Christian. What KIND do you go to?"
