Article: Why the Cleveland Browns are a perfect fit for Josh Dobbs

Wrong. It's split pretty much 50/50. The kid has an attitude problem, does NOT want to be a brown, has been about as insulting as he could be to the Browns. Flat out said he wouldn't do well in Cleveland because it's cold. Not to mention he pretty much mailed in the last half of the season, and we've had SUCH good luck with TAMU kids right?Barnett is a much better choice, not number one though. Shoot for Banett number 12 and that leaves number one wide open at this point.

You are high as hell. Could you please link something that points to this 50/50 split on taking him or not. Everyone with a pulse knows that they have to take Garrett with the #1 and that they are taking him at #1. He is the clear cut #1 and there isn't any debate at all about it.

Yeah, if they can swing osweiller and the number one pick for garoppolo and then shoot for Barnett number 12 I'm happy. That sets them up really nicely. Of course I don't think oswieller is all that bad a QB prospect. I think he was just in a bad place in Houston.

If a franchise gives up a #1 overall for Jimmie Garoppolo, then they need to just close up shop.

Yea I'm not crazy about Oswieller but he ran the Patriots system and didn't make some OLine checks that he should of... However people need to realize that he basically ran his rookie season last year in a new system... He looked good at times but if it was me I wouldn't trust him to run my offense, but that's just me.

All you got to do is social media referring to the Browns and garret to see the split.

WTF has Garrett done? Besides been an ******* to the Browns.

Well, for most of the civilized world Cleveland has turned into a pretty great town. It's full of music and life and art and food and outdoor and things to do. It's big and sprawled so not too crowded and you have room to yourself. Cleveland is a great town.

(sorry, I couldn't resist)

If you like beer, food, music, arts, and outdoor activities do yourself a favor and hit Cleveland during the six months you can get outside. It's been cleaned up and it's gorgeous now. The other six months you have to be hardier then a TAMU player obviously.

Obviously last year was a set up for the draft and they have as many picks next year as they do this year. TBH we probably won't see this come to fruition until next season.

Here's the question Mr. Football. Who would you take number one?

Garrett is probably who they will take, he would be a solid #1 pick. Question is what do they do with the rest? They have been drafting like the Titans before John Robinson. Who would you pick???? I'm not Mr. Football and never claimed to be one, but I do know a dysfunctional leader and the "H" is one.

This thread has confirmed my suspicions that D4H is either crucially mentally handicapped or the best troll this website has ever seen.

my question is this, who is going to take 1/2 of BO's salary hit? cleveland is basically hoping that someone will bail them out there. big risk. will be interesting to see how that plays out.

i still can't get past this one thing....franchises that make these kinds of moves HAVE to make these kinds of moves. if all works out, and all dominoes fall correctly, it will be viewed as a great move.

but it's all hinging on "if's" and for the Browns....well, those don't turn out for them....especially at qb.

and D4h, you're telling me that Houston is a worse place than Cleveland? the AFC south is average at best, and HOU at least has a defense capable of winning that division....if HOU gets any competency at QB and on offense, they're in a good position to win now. JAC is not very good, TN is getting better, but they still have questions and IND is a one horse show with Luck. whereas in the AFC North, you have to deal with Cincy, Pitt, and Baltimore....way more competitive than the South.

Can't wait till Garret slips in the snow, falls on his face, breaks his nose, goes crying into the lockeroom, blows up the team with a massive temper tantrum, and gets booted out of the state with a handfull of cash. SMH

Just for the record, I just heard what the titans are planning to get and those two would be homer in gets for them... Titans are heading in the right direction quickly.

.

It sounds like Cleveland is willing to take the salary hit themselves. They can either keep him on the roster or just drop him. Money isn't an issue for the Browns this off season.

All cleveland was doing was buying draft picks lol

The Browns have so much cash, in fact, they HAVE to figure out a way to burn it or they lose some cap space next year as mentioned in the first article I posted.

I think they are in a postion to help there cause. However, if you are a titans fan you should be stoked about what they are doing in FA... And I would expect the same in the draft.

The Browns are zeroing in on SOMEBODY for QB real hard. They might throw cash, picks, and osweiler at New England. If not they will grab trubisky number one IMO.

i'm not convinced the pats are looking deal for JG at this point. brady isn't getting younger, and if JG is the heir apparent, why would you get rid of him and take your chances in the next year or so on a rookie? or worse yet, a retread that hasn't proven anything as a starter in the league thru free agency?

the longer it drags on, the more i think the browns are going to get stuck with BO and his salary. and they'll still need a QB.
