Dooley got top 15 class and he was literally a idiot
Tennessee name, history and tradition helps a lot with recruiting.
Not to mention facilities
He should be fine with a few good recruiters as assistants, and if he can get a nice angle on this name image and likeness stuff he might actually get a jump on the competition.

about Hoople's recruiting prowess. If he can put up the same kind of points as he has in the past, stud WRs and QBs are going to come here in droves. Today.s game is made for high flying offenses. The key is getting a defense that gets the ball back to the offense.
Right. Just try to hype me up some more on this hire. If we sign Walter Nolen and Dallan Hayden in the next recruiting class I will put all of my Vol stuff back on display in my house. TWENTY years of a clueless path for Tennessee football and it still continues after the Fulmer/PRUITT train wreck. Un-damn-real. Thanks, Danny. Let me do a phone drop.

I now find myself watching UCF full games on YouTube skipping through the offensive series to take-in the full effect of the coaching change, and style. The offense is high octane, you cant tell me your not giddy to see that on Saturday on the big screen or if your lucky at Neyland ;D.
Heard somebody on the radio today say that our boys need to get out and start running now. This offense will eat it’s own if this team is not in a different kind of shape. Hopefully that alone will translate into something.

Your right. I think everybody is consumed with the idea that we have got to recruit the south thus hire coaches with SEC ties and I think that is wrong. We have got to get coaches that have ties all over the country, that is the only way we are going to get back. Every SEC coach uses our past situation and future problems against us already so he has to take his brand of football and sell it to recruits not only in the state and in the south in general but to every talented kid in the country that wants to be in a high powered offense that he is known for and play in the SEC as well. There is a lot of exposure here that some kids would really like to have but he needs to prove he can deliver as well

With respect, please spell his name correctly.

Not trying to be funny but that has actually always been the objective. The defenses job is stop their opponent either on downs or by creating a turnover by fumble or interception. To limit the offense to as few points as possible. That has always been the job of a defense, and always will be. GBO!!!!!

And how are you going to win games when all of the best players are heading to Oklahoma through the portal?

Heupel is being paid 4 million a year to figure out how to replace 750 yards rushing, 8 tackles and 1PD, and an underachieving O lineman.

Gray hurts no doubt but the new coach is supposed to be an offensive genius.

Kiffin is TEN times the offensive genius of Heupel (and I have to spell his name correctly? I will never get used to that.).

If I was a high recruiting prospect for the upcoming year, the # 1 thing on my list would be to play for a team that's under significant sanctions.
The number one thing you would care about is getting to the NFL. Not saying CJH is good at that. But don't get yourself. That's all they care about. And probably all they should care about.
