Probably stayed drunk in the NINE YEARS spanning that time. Not due to the upset itself...more to the resulting incessant drone. :boredom: The clinical diagnosis is Chaminade Upset Virginia Syndrome. Only approved treatment is hurting them BAD! Like prison series Oz BAD. Then the tiresome people will stay mum until we play Ohio. :)

I think App St. makes it a game for much of the first half. Our team will be trying to get back in the groove and it will be a sloppy game overall. In the end a 17 point win isn't the the 45-10 blowout but Appy St is no pushover either.

QB Lamb for Appy State will keep it interesting for about 1 quarter. After that I think we gradually take over the game. Appy State isn't a cupcake for sure. They're not a Tenn Tech or Ohio. They might even be a better team than VT if you ask me. I still say we pull away & win 41-16.

I don't think they're better than VT (though I'd watch that game) but it's a really fun QB/RB combo with lamb and cox.

I hope Miami in Boone is interesting.

There is no reason for Tennessee to ever play a non-conference game in a stadium with a 22,000 seating capacity and why should we care about the economy of Boone, NC?
