Any word from practice on QB reps

All I've seen is his cult like devotion to JG. I don't even remember him from before that. Did he change screen names?

But he hates Maurer. I've seen a few here that I thought crossed the line with JG into hate. I don't hate him. I actually sympathize with him. I feel bad for him. He just isn't the QB UT needs.

Do you really think k-town will be "happy" if Maurer plays well? Do you think he will come here and say he was wrong?

I sincerely wish I were saying, "I was wrong about JG" right now.
There was Dobbs before JG. If we win he’ll be quieter but he’ll be around. No he won’t say he’s wrong.

Personally, I’d let JG go ahead and play until the game is out of hand, then roll with Bailey. Give him the bye week to further prepare and let HB take over vs Arkansas from here on out.

I’d let Harrison Bailey see everything bama can throw at him, See what he’s made of.
GBO!!

Are you suggesting that melanin is part of his bias?

He isn't Dobbs4Heisman is he?

He keeps getting me confused with someone else concerning Dobbs. I'm critical even of guys I think are really good players. But I argued pretty hard that Dobbs should be the QB in '14 over Peterman. And I didn't dislike Peterman either.

I’m familiar. I think if K-Town had his druthers, he’d go with the more diverse choice. If one is clearly...CLEARLY better, he’d champion that candidate. He has a proclivity to star watch and use those stars to declare “all the experts” agree with him.

Nope. And for proof... see my reaction after he played well vs UK and Mizzou last year... before he showed his true self again vs VU and IU.

You won't admit he has talent now... you parse stats knowing that you are painting a picture that does not represent him... So no. You wouldn't.

Well, since I argued FOR Dobbs to start over Peterman and appreciated what Dobbs did as QB... yeah, you're going to have to prove that.

Dobbs was smart and a terrific leader. He was a great runner. He was a clutch player. He was a "good" passer with a very strong arm. He was not "accurate in the strike zone". That was my only lasting criticism of him. Nothing personal... he just missed a lot of YAC's by making catches difficult.

You are a fundamentally dishonest person.
Dude stop lying. You hated Dobbs. You wanted Worley then Dormady to play over him. You did not say one nice thing until he was All SEC his sr year and then you still said QD was going to be a better qb and passer.

You know. Lets not lie about the azz kickings you have been getting from me for about 7 years now.

Well its bound to. He was the only one hurt.

He seems determined on his social media accounts. Indicates that he knows he has a shot to get out on the field.

The "im not abandoning my teammates"

On instagram he put a picture of him in black and white "god forbid if someone try me I'm turning this 💩 into a crime scene"

Twitter cover photo is a screenshot of someone calling out his competitive spirit after he said in the off-season that JG would probably be the starter.

All those things have happened since Saturday.
That background on his Twitter has been there for months. Since the dude popped off with that BS.

You are a fundamentally dishonest person. You just are. But by all means... prove it.

You wanted Worley then Dormady to play over him.
I wanted Worley to succeed. Dobbs never really "competed" with Worley.... at least not as reported publicly. Worley got injured both years. Dobbs replaced him in '13 and threw 2 TD's vs 6 picks but otherwise had similar numbers.

The real debate was in the 2nd year. Worley came back the starter. He earned the position according to the staff at the time. Not my call... theirs. The intent that year was to RS Dobbs. Worley was injured mid-season and replaced in that game by Peterman. There were a few Peterman supporters here arguing he should start. Many others including me argued that Dobbs should start. Peterman started and played about a quarter vs Bama. It was rough. Dobbs replaced him and didn't look back.

You did not say one nice thing until he was All SEC his sr year and then you still said QD was going to be a better qb and passer.
I know that's a lie for a simple reason. I avoid making definitive statements about future events that I do not control. So I would NOT have said QD was "going" to be a better QB or passer. I don't recall but may have said that I believed he would become a better passer. We'll never know what he might have done at UT since he left.

And you are blatantly lying about me saying QD should replace Dobbs AND that I didn't say anything good about Dobbs before that. You can go back and find those threads debating Dobbs vs Peterman. But then again... you have a phobia of the truth. You'd rather believe a lie.

You know. Lets not lie about the azz kickings you have been getting from me for about 7 years now.
You are joke... and apparently don't even realize it.

I'm starting to think because of HTs Instagram that HB +BM= QBs 3RDSATOCT

Shrout did not look good Sat, but he has looked good at times, you don't just write him off cause of one series of plays. Jg would have been gone a long time ago if you went by a series of bad plays on one series of plays.
According g to Pruitt , he did not send a man in motion on the play. To wait for a year to get a 2nd chance and you do not have a firm grasp on the playbook is just as much a fatal flaw as the interception was. He is history unless all the other Qb’s are injured and cannot play. I’m 99% sure Shrout will enter the transfer portal.

I've disagreed with the boss many times at different jobs.. There is a way to do it respectfully.

That said, I do seem to find myself unemployed at the moment.... 😬
I like your sense of humor. Really hope it's
not because you p o'd a boss.

JG threw 0 interceptions in practice yesterday. Looks really good.

I've always wondered about this, while I do not think he could bring us to victory if he played this week, I honestly wonder if we ran the plays he was comfortable with, if throwing him in this fire wouldnt be of benefit later on. As in, he starts and takes reps against probably the toughest team in college football seems like everything else would be downhill in the defenses he would face. example: when I went to UT and Pat was still there, her girls practiced against some pretty good guys during scrimmage and what not. This stiff competition (no pun intended) seemed to make them better prepared to play gameday. (Not trying to be sexist saying men are better athletes than women, etc, etc.........but.........)

If anyone is a college player on here and could shed light on how this scenario would affect confidence + or -, and future preparedness I'd be interested to hear.
Well the current US female soccer team got curb stomped by a 15 year old soccer team for their prep, and we see how that worked out.

Then what did he say concerning qb?
Now you are attempting to flip it into what he actually said. I assume that means you are well aware he never said JG was the starter Saturday and moving forward. Did you actually think with all of the people and fans in this group nobody watched the presser and what you posted would actually slide?
