Definitely coming around. Let's see if it's lasting and contagious.I'll be the first to admit I've been very critical about Ament.
But these last 2 games and especially tonight, it seems that switch may have finally flipped. I love seeing him be aggressive and attacking to get to the paint area. This is what I've wanted to see.
Ament would thrive at the 4 if the refs are calling touch fouls as they did tonight. Ament would struggle at the 4 if the refs are letting muggings go without calling obvious fouls as they did tonight.
He had an abysmal first half. I was at the game and he just looked so lackadaisical on the court. He still had some of that the second half and still seemed hesitant at times to want the ball, but he had a great second half. Teams cant stop him one on one if he goes hard to the rack. I really wish he would’ve backed some of those smaller guys down but he doesn’t seem to like doing that. Great game overall by the kid though.I'll be the first to admit I've been very critical about Ament.

Good game for him... I haven't been as down on him as most but he still got to cut his t/o's down (3 or 4 in the 1st 4 min of the game last night). And hopefully his play last night was not just because they had a 6' 3" guy guarding him again like UL.Definitely coming around. Let's see if it's lasting and contagious.
Just as a point of clarification, Ament’s 4 credited TOs were all on him, individually, as they took place on the floor. The inbound 5-sec violations do not count as individual TOs, rather they are considered "team" TOs.The first half turnovers attributed to him had more to do with the inbound recipients not cutting to get ball or not using screens effectively. Clearly TN had not prepped for that kind of pressure on the inbounds. IMO and I don’t know that I have ever criticized Barnes or staff on here before fwiw
