After reading the majority of posts, it feels that way. What I don't understand is this. If Coach Fulmer says nothing, he is not taking responsibility for the loss. If he says he is very upset, then he is accused of just saying what he thinks fans want to hear. If he wins, that is not good, because he will "hang on to his job". If he loses he should be fired now.
In the era of coaches that will sell themselves to the highest bidder (Petrino, Saban etc.) and could care less about anything but a big contract, I will always support Coach Fulmer. GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd rather have someone come in here, turn the program around, then leave for a better offer than to let TCHFCATUTK continue to run the program into the ground.

Better yet have you been in a coma for the last 5 years? This staff does less with more better than anyone. Its old, very old. If winning 8 or 9 games a year does it for you then CPF is the coach for you.
Its nice and it gives me the warm fuzzys that Fulmer shows "loyalty" to his school but he really should retire ASAP.

I can't say what that makes you then because I would get reprimanded by the forum moderators.

I don't think anyone would bid on Phil's services.

That pretty much sums it up. If your an AD at a football school looking to turn your school into a basketball school than Phil can get the job done.

I'd love for Fulmer to succeed. He's a hell of a nice guy and a good representative of the university. The harsh truth is he isn't getting it done and hasn't for the past 10 years. I have no confidence we'll be any better in the next few games or the next few years.

The only thing we can do is hope.

I think that's where most people are . . . wanting to see Phil get it done, but losing confidence by the day.

Hang on to the Fultanic until he and the university sinks to the bottom. Throw the junior high level coach over the side and get a new captain.

He has a great winning pct. in the toughest conference in the nation. I can not understand how this can be ignored. How is his won-loss record reflective of "doing less with more" ? He is a Hall of Fame Coach.

Here we go again:

vs Spurrier- 5-8
vs Meyer- 0-3
vs Richt- 3-4
vs Saban- 1-2
vs Miles- 1-2
vs Tuberville- 3-3, 1-3 since he's been at Auburn
3-5 in bowls since 99, including no bowl in 05
9 years without an SEC championship
He has lost one of his final two games in each of the last 9 seasons.

'The Warden' has a terrible win/loss record. The so-called big win percentage has been stockpiled against Mississippi, Miss State, Vandy, Kentucky and the pickup patsy games. Would you let this sink into your thick head - Foolmer has lost TWO THIRDS of his games against top tier teams the past 6/7 years. He is a loser - not a winner.
