Alvin Kamara

That's interesting... because the United States supported and armed 2 of the 3 you mentioned here. And there were several influential Americans that supported Hitler.
Doesnt make them right.

The US government put japanese people in camps during war. The infected African American men in Alabama with stds for the sake of a study. All governments have done some stupid crap, doesnt make any of it right and it doesnt justify fidel castro or colin kapernick. Wanna protest police? Great have at it, just know that when you pull stupid antics like wearing socks with pigs on them and doing what he did in Miami, noone cares about your message anymore. You just become a stupid child.

Read about Isaiah Crowell in the wake of the Dallas Officers being killed, the mistake he made and how it was dealt with. Thats how you do things.

Of the poorest nations in the World, 90% are in Africa. The average African lives on less than a dollar a day. I have been to Africa twice on mission trips to deliver medicine and food. Despite your attempt at sounding intelligent while throwing in a racist jab, yes most Africans would gladly come to America.

Despite your words, Africans are not lining up to come to America, no more so than Americans lining up to move other places. The plight of Africa is due to exploitation of the citizens of the African countries by colonizers. Africa is a mineral rich continent, and the wealth of that continent belongs to its citizens....not the colonizers.

Another great thing about America is that you don't have to be butt hurt whenever a person playing a kid's game on Sunday does something that has ZERO effect on your life.

Another great thing about America is that you can stay and try to change it for the better.

We could argue all day long about change. But when the majority of people see something like this it has a negative effect. Hence the division that exists even in this thread. Go read the sports page comments section. Lots of hatred today instead of unity.

His mother is from Africa. Why do you have a problem with him wanting his mom to be able to go back home?

Secondly, maybe you forgot but Alvin is black. Why would he not side with Colin Kaepernick who took a stand for black people being mistreated by the police?

I think trying to have some empathy and seeing where the other side is coming from would benefit you.
Trust me, I really don't need a lesson in political science from you! But, thank you for your effort.

Just because the common or popular sentiment swings one way, that doesn't mean it is right or justified.

That makes me want to go riding through the Congo in the back of an isuzu pickup shooting a .50 cal. Being such a mineral rich continent that was introduced to colonization a long time ago why are they in the shape they are in? Why is every African country a ****hole?

Why didn’t Africans “colonize” Africa? All that wealth was just there for the taking. Why not capitalize?

To be able? He could charter her own airplane. What is this 'to be able' BS?

Oh, and Africa sucks. Been there. Haven't found anyplace that I would even remotely think of going back to other than Cape Town and they are about to **** that up as well.

So you think native Africans want to come here and be discriminated against? You think Africa is an impoverished nation? Your poor white soul....you may want to read and travel more.
I think Africa is a mostly impoverished continent made up of impoverished nations. There is wealth there to be sure just like anywhere else, but overall... it's a shithole.

Wanna compare passports sometime?

Well I know black Cubans from Cuba and they don't have any love for those Cubans in South Florida that are mostly white and part of the upper class that used to rule Cuba before Castro. Those white Cubans were extremely racist and oppressive toward the black Cubans.

Cuba has a very complex history. It isn't as simple as thinking the people who fled Cuba were totally innocent. They were part of the ruling class. They used to oppress other Cubans themselves before Fidel Castro turned the tables on them.
lulz.

So how do you feel about the confiscation of farms in South Africa?

I couldn't care less about AK nor any other professional athlete for that matter. Like someone else said earlier. 'shut up and entertain me'. Except that I am not interested in pro sports in general anymore to begin with.

How does his attire do that?

That's a sweet thought. But if the wealth of the continent belongs to the citizens, how are they then exploited? The plight of Africa is from its' tribal governance, if you can call it governance; it's really more like anarchy. That and the increasing levels of islam throughout.

They didn't seem to have a culture that defined wealth the way we do. Not did the native Americans, etc. That doesn't make their culture worse than ours. Just different.
So all that stuff they were not interested in for hundreds of years, when the value of such things is determined and set... and someone else has already done the heavy lifting.... now they are interested. Ayn Rand hit that one on the head. If I owned a mine in Africa I would blow it back to God before I would turn it over.

The West created a market. The African tribes had no market for those resources. Once the market was established, they'd pretty much been colonized, right?

Kind of the way I see it. The same as the Arabs rolling around in their sand humping camels for sport until somebody figured out there was oil underneath all that.

You trying to argue that Africans didn’t know the worth of gold 100’s of years ago?

Where did this thread come from? I didn't read it all but I would be concerned about kids looking up to Kamara. He's out there mentally.
