Alvin Kamara

Jones ran off top players that are in the NFL because he was unable to put square pegs into "his" round hole offense. He is and was an awful excuse for a coach. I hope Saban appreciates his coffee boy.
I still for the life of me can't understand why Saban would let Jones within 1000 yards of his team. The man is a walking program killer.

Sometimes I think Saban merely dresses Jones in a court jester costume and has him sit in the floor next to his desk as cheap entertainment for visiting recruits.

Heaven forbid he actually lets him speak to an actual Tide player.

Or a potential recruit.

Vs. Giants 9/30 Saints win 33-18

134 Rushing 3 td
47 Receiving

181 Total Yards to follow last weeks 190 yards.

He is about the only reason I watch the NFL this year. His 49 yard touchdown near the end of the game looked like his kickoff return last year. He just seems to glide to the endzone effortlessly on long plays.

Hell I'm a Giants fan, & I agree. Love watching him, & "glide" is a good description. Or slither. Just butter smooth. It's like he's skating past people who have shoes on the ice & are trying to grab him. Tacklers seem to slide off him.

Um, no the casual fan doesnt. Butch knew what he had in AK. He liked Hurd because he was an instate guy.
I’m sure butch knew he had a guy that could have almost single handily won him a handful more games and just didn’t use him because he thought “ nah” ok sally.

Hurd was better than Alvin in 2015. The shift happened in 2016. That is when Alvin raised his game and Hurd regressed.

The real mistake was not using both of them at the same time. Dobbs, Hurd, and Kamara should have played every offensive snap TOGETHER.
I just liked a D4H post. Wow.

Even if Butch wanted Hurd to be the lead guy, there is no reason why Kamara shouldn't have been on the field too, either in a 2 back set or with Kamara as a slot receiver. Dobbs/Kamara should have been an absolutely lethal spread/read option combo.

Dobbs and Kamara would not have won Heismans under a competent coaching staff, but they likely would have been All-Americans. Especially Kamara.

I believe he is relaxing his body as the hit is delivered which enables him to slide off the tackle. Just my theory.

It's quite possible he did it purely for s***s and giggles. "Hey, one of our rivals had this guy as their head coach last year...I think he could be an intern here."

You may be on to something. He certainly doesn't tense up. & there is data that if you relax before impacting the ground in a fall, less fractures occur because the bones are not being tensely pulled by the tendons. So, maybe he relaxes & it's like trying to grab a noodle. Ha.

"Make Africa Home Again" T-Shirt and a Kapernick jersey????

Really Alvin?

His mother is from Africa. Why do you have a problem with him wanting his mom to be able to go back home?

Secondly, maybe you forgot but Alvin is black. Why would he not side with Colin Kaepernick who took a stand for black people being mistreated by the police?

I think trying to have some empathy and seeing where the other side is coming from would benefit you.

Really disappointed in Kamara. We have the media to blame for most of this nonsense. Those who comply with orders rarely have any issues. There can be a bad apple in any profession. With that being said, you know what's great about America, if you don't like it you are free to go. Not trying to sound smart, but the PC battles are getting old. You are being paid to play ball. Just do it.

Therein lies the problem....the ones that comply sometimes end up dead at worst. Just because something does not affect you, does not mean that other people don't care.

Huh? So because someone gets paid to play sports, their freedom of speech and freedom of thought is revoked? Who cares what he believes. That's for him. He's a baller VFL. all that matters

It's not a hard concept, play the game. Be gracious in your interview. If you want to speak out, do it on your own time. Freedom of speech while making a salary should have some stipulations. Most employers have expectations while on the clock. Some professions termination occurs while they are off the clock. My point is there are better avenues to get a message out.I'm willing to wager you don't have the amount of free speech at work that players have right now.

Hope Kamara takes care of himself and doesn't party to hard so he can have as good of a career as his talent merits
