I'd opt for the falafel plate at Yassin's. But I never spend unnecessarily on up days because down days are nearly as frequent.

Agreed. I'm up $140k so far this year. I gave my 12 year old sedan a hand wash and oil change this morning (I had some good help from my seven year old daughter). I'm not looking for food selfies. I'm looking for a beach house and an airplane in a few years.

Thoughts on QSR (Popeyes, Tim Hortons, Burger King) and EAT (Chilis)?

Burger King was an early adopter of Impossible Burger and Chili's was early with the pay at the table technology. I've never set foot in a Popeye's or Tim Hortons, but TH has been very popular in Canada for a long time. They were bought by Wendy's about 20 years ago and both have been passed around like a cheap date in various ownership combinations. Arby's and Wendy's were the same company for a while. TH kind of seems like a Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts crossed with a Starbucks. IIRC, Dunkin Brands includes Baskin Robbins (not that it was asked about though).

The Burger Kings that I've been to usually seem to be poorly managed and often have very unprofessional employees. Basically lots of ****ty attitudes and not really caring about customers. Often cussing and laughing with customers in the store. I get the feeling that the owners are absent and they don't pay their managers very well. You can tell that Chipotle pays their people very well. Moe's are usually pretty well run, although not publicly traded

Chili's has to be struggling with their empty dining rooms. No drive up windows but they've always had a good sized area dedicated to carry out. Reserved parking spots and a separate entrance. I think that Burger Kings still have their dining areas shut down.

Yep, though not much. I'm in for 100 shares at 2.98. The stock soared with that news on Friday. Wish I had loaded up when news came out. There was about a 10-20 minute window when I could have averaged down about 20 cents.

I'm gonna set my stop close to 4.00 around 10, just in case the announcement is underwhelming.

Pretty much hit nail on head. Tim Hortons is big in MI. Every time I've been there I think "this place sucks".

OTOH, it appears that we live in a society that will continue to support unhealthy fast food eateries.

I’ll be surprised if Chili’s makes it to the 30’s. Those types of restaurants have dropped like flies lately. Ruby, Applebee’s, Friday’s...I know there are a few more that I’m forgetting.

Burger King is trash but will be around long after I’m gone.

Popeyes is actually good, but their hiring is horrid. IF you can get your order before passing out in the drive thru, and IF it’s correct when you get it, it’s delicious.

I know a bit off top here but. Speaking of ordering at the table I ate at Red Robin for the first time ever while out of town. Their servers had tablets to put orders in with instead of having to go somewhere else after writing it down. Then after you ate they just pulled your bill up tableside.

I used to absolutely love Red Robin but the location in Knoxville was very very badly run haven't been back in years.
