All things STOCKS

IRA account on Schwab.

We're saving up money to do some renovations on the house, so I can't add much to my cash account right now. This is from an old 401k anyways that didn't have much in it. I thought I would see what I can do with it.

You made a withdrawal from a 401k to trade stock or you are trading inside your 401k?

You still holding? That chart is gorgeous and going on 210M in volume.

I am. Though, not huge gains (about $100 profit), this one actually is in my cash account. Bought in late (like all dumb new traders) so my average is 2.98. Still, profit is profiti, and it's nice to see a green day for once.

I'll have $1k cleared by Monday and I'll be looking to add a winner. Tell me what ya got?

There are a couple stocks I track that move back and forth about 10-20% all day. Been thinking about going all in when it hits the low side and ride it back. You can almost set your clock to it.

I have had great luck with CROX and VCEL personally but I don't know where they go from here.

VCEL is my old flame. I still have about 400 shares, but I sold most of my position last year in the high teens. I bought in 2016 with a cost basis in the $2.40s. I traded on swings around earnings calls several times. That stock made me a lot of money over the last three or four years.

What's everyone's thought s on Lemonade? Doubled today after initial offering...
2019 Revenue $67 million. Bank valuation $1.5bln. Valuation after today $3.2bln. And their motto is “harness technology and social impact to be the world’s most loved insurance company.” Wtf does that even mean? It will probably go higher in the near term, but short the heck out of it when/if it even touches $110.

I thought they’d have to open up earlier hours after what happened a few months ago, just to keep us from jumping to WeBull. Gotta be more to it considering all of the trading platforms start and stop at different times. Wonder if SEC makes them do that or something?
The only complaint I have seen out of WeBull is having to wait on your funds to settle.

Just sold all my shares before the halt. I probably sold too early unfortunately, but still made a good bit on it.
I wanted to sell on that 12+ spike right before but thought I'd ride it untill next week. The holding mergers usually trade sideways a couple of days and then take off.
Also a lot of the people, depending on their platform, couldn't see their shares yet nor trade it. Should get a bunch of eyeballs over the weekend.

I’m hoping for another sell off Monday when the webull users are allowed to trade it. I would love to buy back somewhere in the 8s.

As a company, their quotes are high. Wont last long unless they get more competitive. 20% higher than anyone else I quoted when I shopped homeowners.

App is easy and process is simple but you are paying for that ease. It's like life insurance without a health exam - it usually costs you more.

I don't think it drops back below 10. Premarket Monday will be telling. Very low float at 2.14M.
