We'd obviously pay him more. We have some tradition. I believe UT-UF and UT-Bama are also going to be appealing. That being said, I doubt he'd come. I'm just trying to keep myself a little more optimistic before I find out it's Calhoun.Stoops at Oklahoma:
Top 5 in coaching salary
great recruits from TX every year
an easier conference to play in
storied tradition of football
great game played every year with national attention: Red River Rivalry
Part of me feels like Kippy + plus remaining staff + few big time additions might work...and maintain a great deal of continuity. But then it is such a huge leap for someone who has largely been a WR coach his entire career. So when does Hamilton seriously turn to Kippy... when all other options are gone.
That just sucks... if he isn't careful he could run him off.
Kinda like USC did before poaching The DongEater Trio from us.Muschamps decision is no surprise. He will not return to the SEC unless it is as head coach of Georgia, his alma mater. Hamilton does not need to waste time and cause further embarrassment to the program by publicly groveling for candidates that have zero interest.

I agree - I actually think Leach would work - he's a winner. Forget all the crap with James (and liking pirates).

The sad part is that they are the best in Nashville. If you want sportscasters that know nothing watch Rudy(NBC) and Hope(CBS) they are both clueless. They are the lowest rated station in Nashville, with 3 sportcasters who know nothing about sports except rumor mills or gossip groups. If some of you are going to base your confirmations off a local Nashville ABC affiliate, you need new sources.
