I've said before and I'll keep saying it. Had they let Filoni and Favreau do 7, 8 and 9 they would have had a far better reaction from fans.

always thought it couldn't possibly be bad writing that made prequels and the new trilogy so crap.

seeing this, it just solidifies what great writing does

Very engaging so far. Curious about Sabine as padawan. The droid said it best that she wasn’t very adept at using the force.

Shame the actor playing Baylen passesd away. His character is already intriguing in just these two episodes.

They're doing a good job if having him give off Darth Vader vibes but not reaching Vader levels

Doesn’t seem like he’s gone full Sith which is interesting. His apprentice still has a padawan braid and he seems very sentimental about the possibility of other Jedi. I’m not sure if he’s supposed to be a C’boath stand in or something different.

That's my understanding is he's in the place of C'boath. I think he's playing his part excellently. He's "fallen " I think he was disillusioned by the Jedi fall/ order 66, basically said "f it". He's out for #1, but he's not necessarily evil like a sith. He's not heartless, but he's gonna make sure he gets his first. It is really too bad for the show that he passed. I really think they could have taken him far.

Was a huge fan of his since Rome. Tragic loss way too young.

The only part of the show that I kind of rolled my eyes at was regarding the map sphere. If all Sabine had to do to activate it was "Rubix Cube" the damn thing a couple of turns, couldnt Ahsoka have figured that out? I mean, shes not a tech wiz like Sabine but come on! She's an (almost) fully trained Jedi. Surely part of their training involved basic decryption such as this.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the new episode.
the scene where Ahsoka is running around on the wing of the ship was cringe.
