I can't tell if you're messing with me or not. You answered your own question.

I don't see how anybody could ever think missing 19 shots per game is good basketball. If you think a guy, who can't do much more than score, can play well while missing 19 shots per game then this point has nothing to do with you. You have a perfect memory of the 2 series in question. You just look at basketball differently than me.

Dude I was messing with you. It honestly started out serious, and about 6 words in I decided I didn't want to have the AI debate for the fourth time. So I decided crazy rant was more fun. Feel free to blame Ben for being MIA.

Actually, I would say MVP voting is heavily influenced by how the NBA is covered by the media. If ESPN doesn't exist I think Lebron wins MVP the year that Rose did.

I am sure I'm influenced in a lot of ways by outside sources, but in hoops I ultimately look at the numbers (because I can't possibly watch even 15% of their games) so my opinion that Rose (pre-injury) is better than Westbrook has nothing to do with the media.
