DeerPark. What's bottled water got to with it? LOL!

Well DeerPark is some tasty water, pretty cheap, and we have to keep the players hydrated.

In all seriousness, there is a guy that goes by DeerPark12 (I think) that has some solid info on these matters. I believe he works in the AD.

Lol, Nike has never made any statement inferring we're 2nd tier. So that is absolutely ridiculous. Adidas simply gives us way more money than Nike ever will. Personally, Adidas gear has always been much better quality in my experiences.

If we are going to switch I would prefer we go with Under Armour simply because I hate...hate hate the pro combat uniforms that Nike forces out. Plus, like the quality or not, kids love ua gear. There is a reason there is now an espn ua all American game.

Anyone who is sincerely supporting UA, should turn their TV to ESPN right now, and get UA off their mind one last time..laughable.

Maryland players work two jobs now. Turn left and they are football players, turn right and they work for a Nascar pit crew.

Get over it...we are Adidas. Nike cannot provide us anything Adidas cannot. The administration restricts the creative control and the final product that is displayed on the field. Even the newer administration currently holding office will not venture from 'traditional' Tennessee. This should not even be discussed again.

I sincerely retract my previous statement. Quite possibly the ugliest uniforms I have ever seen. I would gladly wear the pro combat rather than what Maryland is wearing

would you wear marylands uniforms if they where orange and white and said tennessee across the front?

Honestly it doesn't matter who makes our uniforms, as long as who ever does them, never changes them. Nothing like the classic uniforms.

If we got Pro Combat uni's, I bet we'd look like construction workers, or giant pumpkins.

I know this is a former player, but apparently many feel like he does.....

Uga jersey are the ish... Tennessee we need to go to Nike... Adidas aint cutting it..."

I wouldn't necessarily mind the Nike uniforms if someone with a little bit of common sense and tradition could control and approve the final product worn on the field.

Proof that some former players have horrible taste.

Nike has been outbid by Adidas for the Tennessee contract. IMO, having used and played sports with both gear, Adidas is much better. The only caveat is the receivers gloves, which I think Nike makes a little bit better of a product.
Adidas cleats are far superior IMO to Nike cleats too.

I think you've missed the entire point of this thread. This is not a "Adidas sucks and Nike rules" thread.

Also, we have no idea that the new administration will do, because Hart has been on the job for 2 hours. This is the point of the thread, to discuss what could be Hart's first major decision.

TN has always had simple, cleancut uniforms that look great. why would they want to switch? it would be a no-brainer decision.

you really think his first major decision as AD is not going to happen until 2015?

Nike does do traditional stuff i.e. bammers!!! UA also is in Auburn and they stay traditional. I would rather it do whatever as long as we dont have those ugly "yellow" jerseys adidas stuck us with for the music city bowl!!!
