Here is your entry into this thread
"so what's the excuse for this one? not trying to start crap, just seriously wondering if there is a reason for this."
Now, do you see any problems there? What type of answer are you really searching for? Yes, our reason for this is that we are attempting to recruit student athletes who are not particularly good in the classroom. Come on man you can do better than this. Its like you didnt even really have your heart into this troll attempt. Work up something else and bring it back in a couple of days.
Did he not graduate in December? Therefore his GPA would be included in the report.
Or maybe it's the fact that he immediately assumed any explanation of the situation would be an "excuse"?
Yeah - it means that his GPA was counted towards those numbers - so it matters.
How was I "attacking" him?
When you have Cam Tatum on the team, it makes that more difficult.
Right. Stephen Hawking has cerebral palsy. What an excuse for not being able to walk.
I never said it didn't matter. I said he graduated, which i assume mean his GPA wasn't all that bad. Not to mention he graduated early, right? The point is that there was no need for the OP to take the shot at him.
you said:
sounds like a shot on Cam's intelligence to me. Do you know his GPA, or anything about him, for that matter, other than he is not a great bball player? It was just uncalled for, especially for a guy that got his work in the classroom done.
This example would work if Dooley's excuses weren't things that plenty of other coaches in America had to face. What are the other possible reasons Hawking might not be able to walk? There are none. He is unable to walk because he has cerebral palsy. That is a 100% known fact. Dooley is different. You think Dooley's reasons are youth, injuries, etc. I think those are excuses and the reason is he just isn't any good.

I was making a joke about his lack of basketball IQ, didn't know I would get called a clown and jackass for it. Also, you just said he wasn't a good basketball player, so under your rules, you just attacked the poor kid who just gave his all for UT. Jackass.
That wasn't an attack, it was just stating a fact. I don't think anyone would argue that Tatum is a great basketball player, and I have watched him on numerous occasions and can attest to the fact that he is not. You know nothing about Tatum's GPA or performance in the classroom, yet took a shot at him anyway. And maybe you were taking a shot at his lack of basketball IQ, but i don't think Bball IQ and regular IQ are related at all. Heck, with all the ways in which this board affects UT's recruiting, i figured people would be watching the negative comments about players more.
