Academic report from GVX....

What are the other possible reasons Hawking might not be able to walk? There are none. He is unable to walk because he has cerebral palsy. That is a 100% known fact.

Your "100% known fact" is 100% incorrect.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is NOT cerebral palsy. It doesn't support your argument to make up "100% known facts". Might come back to bite your credibility on the ass.

To be honest, i'm not all that worried about my e-cred. Regardless, I wasn't the one who originally said he had cerebral palsy. I was just going off of what the OP told me and assuming he knew what he was talking about. I guess that was my first mistake.

Yeah, that was my fault. Which goes back to my original statement about assuming anything, including that there must be an excuse from the outset. (Hell, I assumed it was CP without checking the facts)

Nice , now here we go with the classroom struggles. It's called keeping priorities in order.

The scholarship average was a 1.9 and 30 players currently on academic probation which requires two consecutive semesters of below a 2.0 or a cumulative gpa below a 2.0.

Very embarrassing to hear.

2.0 by the football team would have meant a party back when I was at UT and that's before the curriculum tightened up. I mean, I don't think they still take weight lifting, self pace math, military science and psych 101 during the semester, do they? Cause I did, and I know a bunch of kids that never or barely made it past that schedule.

For the crowd that praised DD for being about much more than winning football games this is very damning. Those that claim having a "class" moral man as their football coach is all that matters better go into hiding on this one. As I have said many times on this site the VFL program is about selling the program to the moms of recruits and has very little to do with developing our kids into men. This is more proof that the VFL program is a marketing genius with little substance.

VFL might not be helping in the classroom so much, but it has been a while since we've had any arrests (I'm knocking on wood as we speak). Maybe that's a coincidence, but maybe not.

Half the scholarship athletes on academic probation shouldn't make the crowd that claims winning isn't the most important thing very happy. That seems to be what many on here are hanging their hat on when supporting DD. I support DD only if he wins and that must happen now. I could care less about the other stuff such as this.
