Florida looked decent, no doubt.

However they needed several miracles in order to win at home vs Utah (another good team no doubt)……however for some reason now for Tennessee…….The Sky is Falling after beating Ball by a mere 59-10.

If anybody that is capable of watching football without only watching the ball watched the Florida game last night they would know that Utah wasn’t worthy of that single digit next to their name. They were smaller and slower. Florida backs routinely ran through tackles or were out-athleted by AR or they missed assignments after they finally decided they wouldn’t let AR roll right on that Play action out of the pistol. I know the record for the past few decades vs the Gators, but the overreaction to their victory last night is flat out embarrassing.

Utah scored twice on the same drive but the zebras wouldn't give them either one.

1. Utah was overrated!
2. Utah’s coach did not coach well. If they would have kicked FGs inside the ten on 4th down they win the game. They should have also reviewed the 3rd play on the goal line.
3. It was a big ask for Utah to play at Florida in that humidity. It clearly affected them.

7-5 with lots of PT for backup Qbs on big wins and the rest of the team getting swole and ready for next year seems like a reality hope for me.

You've been chanting this mantra since the start, haven't you?

There are a couple of possibilities specifically relating to UF. They're better than expected. They're as good as expected and caught some breaks at home to beat an "elite" team... or maybe Utah didn't deserve the hype?

Hell, I would bet on Pitt winning next weekend. Like others have said, Pitt has been battle tested. We did not look like we could sack a practice dummy. Show some killer instinct and actually wrap tackle then we might go 8-4.

The D is a question mark but there are lots of question marks left for a lot of teams right now.

PS- if UT wasn't playing vanilla on D then Banks needs to be fired before the next game.

Florida, Georgia, & Alabama.

50/50 on LSU & Pittsburgh.

We could wind up anywhere from 6-6 to 10-2. We should know more after the Pittsburgh game on the road.

We know they have more of a roster overall than we do. The hopes were that Napier was in over his head. Then you factor in Richardson. I went from Saturday morning to Saturday night thinking we would likely win to now believing we may not. Then there is that mental part of the game that Florida has on us for 30 years. Still hopeful that the offense can generate enough points to outscore Florida.

Lol well that's what it funny. I'm just saying that's where I think we are at. At the same time, I don't think a 7-5 record is a negative thing necessarily. All depends on how we play people.

The D was so depleted when Coach got here that it's crazy to think they could be significantly better this year.

I know guys like Small and some others have bulked up in the off season, but I thought we looked a little less in football shape than I expected when they zoomed in on the field against Ball St. To me we still look a far cry different than teams like UGA.

I won't be disappointed at all if we go 8-4 this year, Coach inherited a flaming pile of garbage.

I will be certainly disappointed if we go 8-4 next year.

I think 8-4 is more likely this season than next because of how much we’re losing on both sides of the ball. Which is why getting 8-9 wins this year is so important. Three 7-5 seasons in a row would be extremely tough to sell recruits on
