Missouri could not guard our receivers without grabbing and hand checking which then got the PI calls. I believe Pruitt said we had 3 receivers over 100 yds. Great performance!

Next week with a win over Vandy, Bama beating Auburn and LSU beating A&M...
The Vols at 5-3 would be solo 5th in the SEC.
Possible SEC final regular season rankings:
1. LSU 8-0
2. UGA 7-1
T2. Bama 7-1
4. UF 6-2
5. UT 5-3
6. Auburn 4-4
7. A&M 4-4

I knew our WRs would have hell of a game against their secondary. Our defense bent more than usual, but didn't break. Would've been a complete blow-out on our part if we didn't have all the mistakes. We're a dominant team. Our coaches are aggressive with their play-calling. We're just a young team in the trenches, and the refs obviously hate us. Lol, what's new? We've got a QB we've given hell for 2 seasons...with a broken hand...playin clutch cause he loves his team. We've finally got game-day coaches that know how to coach-up talent. How long has it been since we've had that?!?!? The sky is up my orange comrades.
Strike me down, I don't care. Tell me you've heard this before. Again, I don't care. Bring the mfing recruits, build some depth, we'll be straight nasty! Pruitts not going anywhere. Chaney isn't going anywhere. The team is buying in...Basically what I'm trying to say for the future is...

I'll take it! Let's send UGA back where they belong... As...our B!tch!...Kirby won't last long-term. How you have 3-deep 4-5* players and still crap the bed is beyond me. Paper talent will only get you so far. I'm more worried about Mullen. As much of a toole he is, he can coach his ass off. Let's just hope Pruitt can out-recruit and out-coach him long-term. As for Saban, his days are numbered.

I didnt think we'd get more than 2 wins after the first few weeks. Glad to see a QB shakeup and shedding some dead weight on the team got things moving in the right direction.

If all ya want is a better W/L record...maybe Tennessee should just pull out of the S.E.C.. Perhaps we could find a home in the MidAmerican Conference and try our hand at pounding Akron or Ball State into submission..??

Compared to where we could have been and actually have been in the not so recent past, 3rd place sounds good and does demonstrate improvement.

However nobody ought be popping bottles and celebrating being in third place in the SEC East, that sucks. 2nd place is first loser, wth you think 3rd place is?

To bad Bituili and Thompson didn't play against Ga St and BYU. We win both if they are playing on defense. 4-3 and 8-3 would look really nice right now.

Very proud of how this team has owned the start, taken coaching and not quit and turned the season around!

Agreed. Pruitt has done a fantastic job holding this team together after a dreadful start. Team development, growth and culture is outstanding, just can’t say enough about how they’ve rebounded imo. That said, oughtta be 8-3 right now with a great chance to win 10 games after the vandie best down next week and a bowl game.

Still, great tread OP, great to see us creep back up towards the top where we belong. 5-3 SEC record this year is great.
