I know this will sound like sour grapes, but he wasn’t beating King out in the slot to replace Staley. Would’ve been fun to see what Heup could’ve schemed up for him. But Keys/Moa/King are the trio of the future IMO.

I am fine with this flip because we wanted him as a WR and we have depth and a great class coming in. Use the money for a real RB like DGG as we can add some to his deal and have some to add for a really good portal safety.

I believe he was being recr here to do a numbers of things. He can return punts, run the ball fas a RB, run the end around, catch the ball out of the backfield, run reverses, etc. He can also play in the secondary in man defense. His loss is bigger than many want to admit. Speed kills and we need speed at a lot of positions.

Not sure this was hard to call. No clue if Ohio St is recruiting him as a RB or WR, but either way I didn't like our chance once they entered the picture.

I didn't realize they were wanting him as a RB. Either way, I didn't like our chances with either. Ohio St has a lot more to sell and develop both a lot better than us. Hell, our best RB in years can't even get on the field in Cleveland. And of course it's an Ohio St RB leading the way
