But he was being recruited as a WR here. So that post you responded to makes a ton of sense.
No he’s getting recruited as an RB and more at Ohio State

Imagine only telling a kid he’s only playing one position he also said he wanted to be developed which is pretty damning for Tennessee

I didn't realize they were wanting him as a RB. Either way, I didn't like our chances with either. Ohio St has a lot more to sell and develop both a lot better than us. Hell, our best RB in years can't even get on the field in Cleveland. And of course it's an Ohio St RB leading the way
Idk we have a walk on having a better season than anyone they have at RB this year

Kind of an odd quote from him about “development is a factor” and this year we’ve finally seen the most development from our WR corps in arguably 5 years.
Well Ohio State is going to play him at different positions and not just one like Tennessee was . It’s also a damming indictment on Josh Heupel
& his staff

Definitely. Either way, Ohio St is developing RB's and WR's that translates to the NFL than we are. That's what an elite staff gets you.

We have been much better this year but Ohio State is arguably developing skill players as good as anyone in college football lately.

Just look at the NFL…it’s littered with OSU players. Smith-Njigba is leading the NFL in receiving, Egbuka is second in ROTY odds and they have two rookie RBs currently starting on the Pats and Browns. Also have the best receiver in CFB in Jeremiah Smith.

You mix that with them being the reigning champs and current No. 1 team and it’s a lot to recruit against.

Bishop and Jackson's stats are almost identical. But as far as the NFL goes, Judkins, Henderson and Dobbins are playing well for their teams. When Sampson does he get on the field, he doesn't even avg 2 yards a run. Ohio St can sell that better and tell players their development transitions well to the NFL. Wright, Small and Sampson barely see the field. Hard to blame the kids

We had a guy flip to ohio state and still have the #1 wr recruiting class in the country. All that to go along with the SEC leader in receiving yards, a freshman on the biletnekoff watch list, and our 3rd wr has more yards than 11 out of 15 SEC teams' top wide receiver. Kelsey Pope is proving elite as both a recruiter and developer.

Not worried about losing legend one bit. He was always a luxury more than a need.

Dobbins too. He's having a great year in Denver.

Disagree, he's absolutely a need. We don't have anyone remotely close to having the speed he does. We absolutely need more speed at the skill position. Our WR's are playing well for once, so I give him credit for that But he also has to maintain that, any Coach can have 1 good year. He still has to keep the ones committed and that's no guarantee. Hope to hell we can keep the others, we can't afford to start losing committed WR's.

You just named two former 5star recruits and the #1 rb in the transfer portal. Those guys were going to be special wherever they went. Just like Jeremiah Smith would be the best WR in college football if he played at Wyoming.

To be fair Judkins is Ole Miss made and Dobbins graduated in 19... I will give them Henderson

The 4th best wr in our class that flipped to play RB is a need? oof what a take lol

Troll alert. Almost all if not all post about heupel sucking. Having more chips on roster in decades and this idiot take when we lose one. What a weak cry baby post

Ask Dallas Hayden about that. Give me a highly talented back coming in and it’s not hard to make great great.

So again, he was being recruited as a WR *here*

😂 a guy flips to the reigning national champs and it’s damning bc he said something?

Why’d he commit to UT in the first place? Was it damning to OSU when he did?

Being an "athlete", I wonder if he got a vibe that he may be asked to play Safety or DB here?
