3 Straight Elite 8s

I get it. Making the right choice is critical. I think it's a but premature to judge Elander at this point, and also Caldwell. Next year will be critical for her
I think Caldwell is done. Again, just my opinion but it will be hard to replace an entire roster and be competive, much less less get us back to being a leading womens bball program…which we clearly are not at this moment in time.

Elander had to follow Vitello, he will never beat or meet that expectation if people have it.

You may be right about Caldwell. Amassing talent and looking incompetent managing it can simply be the result from someone inexperienced or the result of someone in over their head at this level. Need some real, tangible improvement from Caldwell next season or she is done. Note I already stated next season is critical

Just heard a wild stat from a caller on Basilio's postgame. In these 3 straight E8s, we have faced chalk in every single round. We have not benefitted one time from upsets in our bracket, always facing the highest seed possible. That is wild to see that in 3 straight NCAATs spanning 12 games.
We ARE the upset team in the bracket. :)

I am willing to give her one more year. I believe DW was looking for a young Coach, who would be with the program for decades, like Pat. She needs to learn FAST. I still believe we could have gotten Kara Lawson, when we hired Kellie Harper. Kara has her team in the Elite 8, while the Vols watch on ESPN.

Caldwell made a SS in year one with new transfers and sone leftovers. I think the culture was bad this year with sone transfers. She needs to retain some youth and bring in better transfers. I expect her to be fine.

Will Wade was my son’s basketball team manager back at FRA (Nashville) . He never played a lick of basketball, but even back then was a basketball genius. Aside from the “stuff” at LSU and the move now, he is a very good coach.
His lack of character not his X&O’s ability is what makes him undesirable to me

Caldwell was done before she started … bad choice
